Nice college

I admitted in this college after doing my diploma.I scored 79% in Diploma. I got the admission through the cap round process.

The subjects offered in the course are very nice and gives us knowledge in detail. The faculty teaches the subject nicely. The Computers faculty is average; so is the IT department. Students say some teachers can make life pretty difficult, but that’s always there.

Yes, lots of company comes in campus for providing internship to students in 4th year.around 25 companys comes to the campus each year for placement.

Placements are decent. If you have decent percentage followed by good aptitude skills, you most probably will get placed. TCS, Tata Infotech, Reliance Info comm, Patni Computers are the major recruiters offering salaries around Rs. 2 lac per year to Rs. 2.2 lac per year. More than 50% placements for all departments with Electronics leading.

Fees structure-120,000 per year for open category people 60,000-OBC, sbc 3500-st, sc, nt. The fees is very expensive for open category people. the minority people get the scholarship around rs 25000. The fees is very low for sc,st caste people they can get degree in just 10000rs.

Scholarships are given to the minority people. But the students can apply for loan from any bank after getting the fees structure form accounts department.

Nucleus is the technical festival of Shah and Anchor Kutchhi Engineering College (SAKEC) held in February-March. Verve is the cultural festival which is held around the same time as Nucleus. Olympus is the Sports festival. Almost every student participate in the events which makes all events enjoyfull.

The exam is taken as per the mumbai university structure. There are 2 sems in a year and in 2 sems 2 extra exams are taken. Labs are also taken as per university structure. There is external vivas for labs subjects. But almost every student is passed in vivas except for thoughts who have cross connection with teachers.

I admitted in this college through cap process. i got the admission in 3 cap round..the minimum percent needed for diploma students to get admit in this college is 77% ....the college also has minority for gujarati, and jain people and minority people also gets scholarships

This is one of the few things students say Shah and Anchor Kutchhi Engineering College (SAKEC) is good at. The math faculty is brilliant. The other faculties too are decent (at least in the first year, after that it doesn't really matter because you get immune to such things). The electronics faculty is quite good throughout. The Computers faculty is average so is the IT department.
