Remarks
The initial screening was the 12th result. There was an interview and group discussion. It was very interesting especially the interview. Being a science student I feared the interview majorly. But the profs asked questions related to my 12th subject. The college profs are very knowledgeable and the infrastructure is superb.
Course Curriculum Overview
Dates of exams never shifted, even during pandemic times. Scoring was good if you attended all classes. Majorly application based questions were asked. Major fun is with elective papers and their exams as they were very fully application based which made learning very comprehensive.
Internships Opportunities
Amazon, Flipkart, EY, HDFC Banking, KPMG, federal bank. Projects in each semester with courses are intensive. Summer internships are good and very comprehensive. The profs are a part of the internship process fully. So the learning is very high.
Placement Experience
Will pursue MBA from here as jobs are good hereafter MBA as well. Plus industry experience is best in Odisha. Close to 85 to 90 percent gets placed. The ones who are left out are because of low CGPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees are reasonable given the brand name BIRLA and the course structure. They don't hike fees very fast.cost of BBA is well within 6 to 7 lacs including all expenses. There is merit cums means policy. There is financial assistance from banks as well.
Campus Life
There are many clubs like sports, mass communication club, cultural club, plus more specific clubs in marketing, finance, HR and operations. We as students are a part of social media and blog teams. We do a lot of outbound social activities as well
Interview Experience
Majorly I saw the current events and trends. Since I was interested in marketing read brand equity from economic times. Followed CNBC TV 18 as well. I brushed through class 12th books once and it helped during the interview.
