Remarks

I didn't apply to any other colleges. Minimum 60% marks required in PCM in 12th board exams. There weren't minimum age criteria. The admission process was quite easy. First of all, I have to fill a registration form which fee was 2000. Then a person from college contacted me and asked for documents which are the 10th and 12th mark sheet and passport size photo. After verification of documents, he asked for fee payment. After paying the fee I got the enrollment letter within few days through courier.

Course Curriculum Overview

I was interested in programming hence I choose this course. Faculty to student ratio is quite good i.e. 1:50. Most of the faculty have masters and PhD degrees. Their teaching is really effective and it seems that they have a really good command of their subjects. The examination is regularly conducted. Almost every week we have to give an exam. It is of medium difficulty.

Internships Opportunities

I haven't done any internship yet. But as heard from seniors internships offered on our campus depends upon student's potential. It may be either good or bad. I haven't much idea about roles offered under internships and stipends.

Placement Experience

In the seventh semester, students started to get hired. No. of companies which visit campus is quite good. The average package is not disclosed by the college. The highest package is 24 lakhs per annum. The percentage of students getting placed is good. I have planned to do masters after getting the degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is 82000 per semester and 10000 extra at the time of admission. Many companies come on campus for placement. Almost every student gets placed. Intelligent students get good packages. College makes sure that every student gets placed.

Campus Life

Campus life is quite good. There are many fests which are conducted every year. The library is well equipped with a variety of books and journals. The classroom is equipped with air conditioners. A special building is there for sports activities. The cricket ground is also available. There are many clubs and societies of various types as well.

PEC Chandigarh Review

Placement Experience:

Placements of this college is better than many tier 2 NITs . Students are eligible for placement in 8th semester. If we talk about the top companies visiting PEC, these are Apple, Google, Microsoft, American Express, McKinsey, JP Morgan etc.

Placement Experience:

from 5 semester you become eligible for internship and pre placements i think 56 percent of the students get placed i haven't thought much about what i need to do after the degree but definitely i would be considering gaining some experience in this degree to enhance my skills

PEC is great choice

Placement Experience:

placements from rti report placement percentage is over 75 + and in ee its 74 percent cse 93 and ece 84 percent avg for cse is 18 lakhs and ece is 16 lakhs ee its 14 lakh and other branches have 8 10 lakh avg but the placemnt percentage in mechncial is 70 percent other branches like civil production have a little less percentage of placements but they have opportunities in college

Overall im loving this college

Placement Experience:

For placement students can apply in their last year respectively Top recruiters at UICTE include Reliance, GAIL, Honeywell, ExxonMobil, and Technip, offering many roles, but exact offer numbers aren't publicly available. Highest package for chemical engineering this year is 12 LPA and average is around 5 to 7LPA I want to do something of my own after this degree

after 7th semester students are eligible for process of placemet many company recenty visited like tcs and infosys .average pacakage is around 700000 and highest pacakage is around 5200000 . 70% students got placed My plan is to join a good company after degree

There are on compus placement and few companies visit. But very few students are only selected and offered a package of around 5-6 lpa. Oracle, fy, hdfc etc In percentage placement is around 10%. I plan to apply for off campus placements and don't have any plans for mtech or any other cource.

I want to go abroad for higher studies and after that work for a multinational company. I will be able to learn so much about what has been taught to us, the highest package that was given was 42 lakh per annum and the minimum is 10 lakh per annum and CSE gets the highest number of the package.

A GLANCE TO MY COLLEGE

i chose this college over other colleges becuase of its reputation , in recent years Chitkara has made its name whether we talk about placements or any other various field, it has a brand value as a private college its a quite good college,this is slightly a new college that is why boards were the criteria to get admission and other colleges i applied to took admission o the basis of JEE mains and i had not scored that good in it that is why did'nt able to clear the cutoff for my required branch, i applied t o Thapar Institute Of Technology, Patiala , Chandigarh University,Punjab, Amity University, Punjab Chandigarh College of Architecture.. i got confirmation from everywhere but just in Thapar i did not get Computer Science, The elegibility criteria in Chitkara is min aggregrate of 60% in jee mains and 70% in boards then there are several cutoffs on which the branches are given to students...Read More

I choose this college because it have a good placement ratio and packages. Here placements cell heads are helpful and teaches us about how to grab good placement. No, i didn't get a rejection from other colleges but i choose this because transportation is easy in this as compared to other colleges.
