Remarks
I had applied to Lala Lajpat raj college, mmk college and Jai hind college, I opted for mmk because of the location and since I had most of my seniors passed out or studying in mmk hence I opted for mmk. No quota was availed by me. Minimum 80% was required in the list where I was present, min age was 12th grade passed. The admission process was very methodical and supported by well educated staff.
Course Curriculum Overview
My course is BMS - bachelor's in management studies, since I plan on managing my own business in the future and advice given by my seniors and elders I have opted for BMS. A different teacher for every class and subject to the ratio would be 1:60 since there are 60 in each class. The faculty is well educated, PhD of industrialists. Every semester has 1 external and 1 internal exam, we have 6 semesters and the difficulty level was high
Fees and Financial Aid
The college course fees were 21000 a year paid through demand draft or check, they would have different schemes for the ST and OBC students. Toppers were given scholarships and some students on request could get financial assistance. Placement cells haven't been allotted yet since I'm still in my second year.
Campus Life
The annual fest name is the tsunami, one of the biggest fests in Mumbai. It gave us experience as a corporate firm and also gave us a lot of personality development opportunities. A well equipped library has been provided to us both online and offline. Classrooms are well made with proper tools and modern equipment. We have 5 sports teams and also options to participate in sports competition along with dance, band and fashion show We have a Rotaract club of Lala college which consists of many members and options of becoming heads.
