Brief but important

The admission in MNNIT is based on your JEE Main all India rank after which JoSAA allocates the colleges you opted for in a sorted(according to your preferences) manner. I chose MNNIT because of the placement opportunities that it provides and also the quality of student life it offers.

ECE is one of the top branches to opt for and also to land a good job in the industry. Every semester has its own set of faculty teaching strengths of 150 approx students divided into 2 groups which are further divided into 2 groups each for lab and tutorial purposes. Most Faculties are highly educated and know how to feed things into students brains. Exams are conducted twice a year and twice in a semester (mid semesters and end semesters).

All the big five tech companies along with other tier 1, 2, 3 companies in the industry conduct internship drive. The stipend is also good for almost all the students landing the internship opportunity.

Companies conduct internship drives at the beginning of the 5th semester and placement drives at the beginning of the 7th semester. Almost 90% of the batch from the ECE branch bag a job. The highest placement is 52 LPA. The average placement is 12-14 LPA.

Fee structure for all the 8 semesters is given beforehand i.e at the time of admission only which remains as it is throughout your course. College also provides fee waivers for SC/ST students and other reservation-based students.

Annual Cultural Fest Culrav and Annual Tech Fest Avishkar were conducted at the start of the year i.e September and end of the year i.e March respectively. Almost all the course books were always available on the big fat library shelves along with the seating capacity of more than 100 students. Classrooms are well equipped with ACs, lightings etc. The college has a little downside in this particular area as the courts or grounds are mostly occupied by the official college team so the rest of us could play only around the time of the sports fest. Alot of clubs and groups are maintained by the students in MNNIT which can't even be named here as the list is long.

Hostel infrastructure is mostly old but the new buildings are being built at full pace. The meal schedule is decided by the students only. Mess fee is very low also you get the refund according to your attendance in mess.
