Remarks
This is a state government college that comes with a minimal fees , decent infrastructure, and an average placement record. Earlier admission is done through jcece but from the year 2019 admission is through jee mains scores. One could easily get a seat here within 80k rank.Counseling starts just within a month of jee results.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have chosen the Computer Science branch because the future is completely digital and there's a huge scope for IT engineers. Faculties are highly qualified and maximum professors are from the IITs and are very much professional in their domain. Various new technologies of teaching were introduced like practical-based education, industrial projects, and many more. The midterm exam is held twice a semester and an external viva is also conducted.
Internships Opportunities
The TPO of the college helps for the betterment of the student's future. And the students bags there internship opportunity from various public and private sectors companies. In public sector like bccl dhanbad,Sail bokaro, CCL ranchi and private companies like Tata Steel and Tata Power
Placement Experience
Students can bag the PPO's from 3rd year if they are willing to go for campus placements or internships. Companies like tata steel, Adani, Deloitte, and many other companies recruit a good number of students from the college and also provide good CTCs. If the students have any ideas about start-ups or entrepreneurship, the college has their back. It has a start-up cell that supports such ideas and if they succeed to pitch in their ideas they also get help from the alumni of the college.

Campus Life
There are various clubs and social groups in our college which conduct various fun activities, college festivals, placement preparation, events, etc. An annual sports meet is also organized by the Sports club of the College. All the clubs are active and you can choose from a wide variety of options like Arts club for drama, music, dance, Painting wing for artists, sports club, coding clubs, social clubs, Prayaas India, Rotaract club, SAE, GRS, Eco club, etc
Hostel Facilities
There are separate hostels for 4 years and each year you would be in a new hostel.The room size and number of room-mates vary year-wise. In 3rd year we have 4 people in a single room with a separate bed, table, chair but the toilets and bathroom are combined for each floor. The quality of food we are getting is not so good but there is no other option. To get the hostel you need to inform during the admission only and the monthly mess fee is 3000/-.
