Remarks

The college management makes their point to provide the best to the students in terms of all the facilities, infrastructure etc.

Entrance Preview

I gave IPU-CET which is the man entrance exam held by GGSIPU i scored 550 in the year 2012. I opted for this college because it is one of the best college in the university. Also it is government funded and has less fees.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course structure is pretty good. The faculties are also nice and they highly intend to focus on the key concepts of the course. I pursued my bachelors so wasn't that much involved with the research. But as a start it gave me a good platform so that I can pursue masters in the given field ahead.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, the college provides internships and even they give you opportunities if you want to search for internships on your own in different companies.

Placement Experience

4

The college has a record of 100% placements from past many years and they call many different companies and provide students with the opportunity to excel in the those and have a good job. The list of companies which visited can be found on the college website.

College Events

4.5

All the major festivals are celebrated in the college. Apart from that there are events like international conferences and other seminars too. The technical fest take place for each department once in the year, providing an exposure to the students to learn more and more. The cultural fest also takes place once in the year and that's the main one of the university where all colleges and students from different courses comes and participates.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The college is funded by the central government so the fees is not too expensive. And even the fees is less than all the other semi or private colleges in the university. The total expenses are not that high which usually takes place in other colleges to pursue a degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are good amount of scholarships which are given to the students on the basis of their academic performances and also grants are given if you are good in sports or something like that.

Campus Life

4.5

Campus life is fun, challenging and gives you a platform to learn a lot in those years of degree. The gender ratio varies according to the courses. It was less when talked about the girls in engineering courses and was very high in courses like Law etc.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

I wasn't a hostel student so I'm not that much sure with the facility. But what I've heard is that it's kind of average. The mess food is also average. And even there is a meal plan which is followed according to the days of the week. Two students are given a separate room and there is a bed in that with the study table and inbuilt closets.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network is also decent and many alumni are either working in big companies or have traveled abroad for the higher studies. You can come in contact with the alumni and yes indeed they are very helpful in guiding you not only about your course but also to help you follow your interests.

Exam Structure

The exams are held twice. one is the id semester exam and other are the finals. The practicals related to labs are conducted both internally and externally. So you have to perform those in front of your subject teacher and in front of the externals in the final exams.

Admission

The admission process is totally through the merit list which comes out on the basis of the ranks. The corresponding rank student are allowed to make an account and participate in the online counseling. The counseling rounds then take place and you attend those to get the college available for your rank.

Faculty

4

The faculties in the university are well qualified to teach the particular course. They highly focuses on the key concepts which the student should know about that course. You can any time contact them regarding your doubts and they can issue doubt sessions if you need them.

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

When it comes to curriculum everything us fine accept 1st year curriculum. My branch is ece in 1st year i have to study chemistry and physics which is no use for anybody in future it is just waste of time pretty outdated. For 2,3 and 4th year curriculum is far better than what it is in 1st year. Odd semester starts form August and after 2 month we have to give midsem exam.1 month after midsem we have to give endsem. There is very short time period between midsem and endsem examinations.Even semester starts form January everything is same as that of odd semester.
