A worth it review for ZHCET

I applied in ZHCET and gave neet as a medical aspirant but failed to get a good medical college so this was the best next choice for me in my very own city. No quota for my admission. Age is 18+ and minimum marks are no criteria but on the basis of merit of the Entrance test scheduled. The admission process in government colleges is not easy. It takes time from one place to another one office to another for different formalities to be done. I had to move to 5-6 places for my admission. After getting approved everywhere I finally got it.

I chose this course because I wanted to move forward in future towards IoT. The student ratio is uneven. I am in engineering college so here boys are in majority. The ratio is something around 10:6 boys: girls. The teaching method is smart and practical. The teachers are very qualified and pay attention to every child and support each of them for their future plans. We have semester wise exams and annual exams as well. Difficulty level is moderate.

I worked on Solar PV using PVsyst without a stipend for work experience for 1.5 months under Varshan Consulting Engineers. I also worked under Oxymora technology for 3 months as an IoT research intern on GSM, battery, ph sensors. I have worked on a smart health monitoring system as my mini project in college.

Students become eligible for placement from the third year onwards. Companies : Siemens, TCS, Tejas, Truminds, Adobe, L&T, Voltas. No of offers made are variable each year having ratio of female and male. At times they only recruit female students. Highest package made: 9lpa Lowest package made: 1lpa Average package made : 3-4 lpa Percentage of students placed was 10% My plans are to do masters from my college.

The cost to study is very affordable since it is a government college. Anyone can normally afford it. Scholarships are given to students on merits. Financial assistance is given to physically disabled students and anyone in need. I am a student and applied to many internships and haven't placed yet.

The annual fest in our college is called zarf and it is organized in March for 2-3 days at max. All books are available at the library and book bank of the college and separately in the department as well. And related books are issued at the starting of the year to students. Air conditioners, smart boards, projects are few things in college. Sports are organized especially in hostels for both residential and non-residential students. There are many sites made by my seniors and my classmates but I hardly remember their names.
