Remarks

CAT/MAT/CMAT scores are essential for an MBA in private B Schools of India. These scores along with our past academic scores followed by GDPI rounds and written tests are mandated for determining admission in top private B Schools. Age doesn't matter, (on average, it's below 28) we can be either experienced or fresher.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

I chose MBA to improve myself on an individual level and enable me to get good exposure in the job market. The faculty-student ratio is 1:10. Faculties are experienced and most of them did PhD in reputed universities. The curriculum is designed in a trimester system, which accounts for a 90-day duration between each main exam. The learning process is rigorous compared to other private b schools. Exams are fun and applicative, however, they are only one of the determiners of valuation. There are plenty of assignments, projects, thesis, internships and live projects which also determines our performance.

Internships Opportunities

5

Before joining the college, we have to perform an organisation study based on the guidelines and instructions provided by the college through respective mentors assigned. There's a summer internship that we have to do mandatorily and is evaluated based on contribution, presentation and learning. We should also do a Social concern project in any NGO or MSME on the topic of our choice. In case of difficulty in getting opportunities, there will be faculty support through which we can get in touch with companies.

Placement Experience

5

Students will be eligible for placements by the end of the 5th trimester (total: 6 trimesters). The highest package is 15 LPA and the lowest is 4 LPA. There is a wide range of Companies for placement, such as Hindustan Unilever, ITC, Wipro, DHL, Britannia, TCS, IBM, DXC, Deloitte, KPMG, PWC, EY, Gartner, HDFC, IDBI, ICICI name a few. 95% of students get placed annually. I got placed in IBM as a Business Analyst.

Fees and Financial Aid

Payment will be done online through the SIB Titanium debit card issued by the college. It is done annually- 3.7 lakh and 3.8 lakh respectively for years 1 and 2. Hostel facility requires an annual payment of 35000 and 50000 for years 1 and 2. This is excluding food service. There's no mess, but 7 outlets available within the campus where we pay for food on the go.

Campus Life

5

Library facilities are extensive and there is also a digital library for students to have access. Classrooms are well set with multimedia and also physical boards along with an adequate level of furniture. Sports and extracurricular activities are highlights of the institution- tournaments use to happen inter-campus and inter-college levels as well. There're annual cultural fests and ethnic day which is more than a celebration for Christians. Clubs and committees are there and require mandatory from students, we can say all the events are run by students itself where management just facilities the activities.

Hostel Facilities

5

The hostel is neat and clean and is located within the college premises. The timing and schedules are strictly maintained with biometric punching systems. An elevator facility and hot water is available. Washing and dry cleaning facilities are also available but require additional payment. Hostel fees are excluding food services. There's no single mess but multiple outlets of a diverse variety of foods which we can pay on the go. For students who want to stay independently, there're plenty of rooms and PG available in the neighbouring premises at nominal rates.

Interview Experience

5

There were Group Discussions, Interviews or Written Tests in the admission process. GD round consists of open-ended topics which are more related to the common aspects of society such as equality, unemployment, diversity etc. There's also a micro presentation, where we have to speak about a given topic in 60 seconds. In the written test, we'll be writing a short note on given topics and answering some situation based questions.

Placement Experience:

Placements in the college are good for marketing specialization. Compared to other specializations, from semester 2 itself, students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Deloitte, KPMG, ICICI Bank, and HDFC Bank visit the campus. The highest package this year was 40 LPA, and the average package is around 6.5 LPA. The percentage of students getting placed is 70% for now. After getting the degree, selection in a good company is my plan.

Placement Experience:

The average package offered is moderate and there are limited opportunities for high paying roles compared to top tier colleges. Companies that visit the campus are mostly small to mid sized organizations. The placement cell is very supportive and conduct training sessions such as aptitude tests, mock interviews and soft skills development to prepare students for placements.

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college is decent, wiyh around 90% of students are getting placed. Students usually become eligible for placement in their final year and the college provides internships opportunities before that, which helps in gaining experience. Many companies visit to campus mainly from marketing and sales, along with some roles in HR and operations. The number of offer is good but option for finance and analytic are comparatively limited.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage
