Remarks
Direct merit based admission process is available on a first come first serve basis. Staff and teachers are very Cooperative during the admission process. College releases two lists one main and one stand by. Stand by is for the ones who are not able to make their place in the first list, cut off around 60% for the first list and 55% for the second. Also, the marks in a particular subject are checked and verified by the HOD of the department you are taking admission into. The admission process takes mostly 3 to 4 days, depends on the teacher and students admitted. After that, you can immediately start the classes the next day.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose Physics for my interest in the subject. The faculty student ratio is not very balanced. 6 total faculties in Physics attending a total of 120 students in a batch. All faculties are highly qualified and experienced, a little old in age though. The exams are suddenly announced but can be expectedtimestime and durations by keeping regular contact with HOD and other Professors. passing the exams solely depends on your hard work.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees were quite high as compared to other colleges under RANCHI University. For BSc Physics, the total annual fees were around 16,000 whereas other colleges under RANCHI University charge very minimal fees around 3,000 to 4,000 annually. E - scholarship was available but only for OBc, Sc, st students. And little placement opportunities for BCA and Mass Comm. students, not for Physics.
Campus Life
Lots of activities and events are been organised in the college throughout the year.
