Remarks

The college that I applied for was SOIM, as this was the main branch so my first preference was SIOM. The reason for not attending the college was due to covid our college was held online from 10 am to5pm. For admissions purposes for the scheme was tuition fees for OBC students. The admissions criteria were that we have to apply for entrance trust that is CET exam, accordingly, there was the cutoff of the SIOM college which was 80 percentile. The admission process was that we went to the college physically to submit the required documents which were verified by the faculty and staff members. Various counters were there where we have to visit and get our verification done accordingly and a xerox copy of all documents was kept with us. The faculty members were very helpful and humble. For fee payments we had to download the college app which was provided for every student and pay the fees accordingly, login is was password was given. As I am an OBC student so my fees were near about 73000.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course as I was always interested to do, learn and go ahead in this direction in future. The faculty students ratio was 30/40. The faculty is well trained and qualified professionals are there with PhD and experience. The teaching methods are through ppt sharing, as due to covid lectures were held through Microsoft teams. The exams were after 3 months sem1.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure the peace structure was the fee structure for OBC students was that they have to apply through the scheme which was provided fees for OBC students post-matric abs the piece was near about 75000 in total for that the student needs to apply the procedure and documentation process accordingly and the internship which they are providing through CPC Centre placement cell.

Campus Life

After second semester we are eligible for the campus placement there are many companies which are visiting regularly in the college and there is various type of offers made as I am currently in 2nd sem so I don't know about the highest package but everything it is near about 8 to 9 lacs.

My SBS Journey

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

To be honest there are placements but the placements are like no one want to be there it is just something unacceptable for the HR students . The promises the long talks are all false and they doesn't focus on students future and career rather they care for just attendance

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

Remarks:

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top.
