Remarks

Only applied for IBS and got selected, a pretty decent interview. Good questions were asked. I did apply for NMIS too, couldn't cut through. Criteria for marks was more than 50% across 10th, 12th and Grad.

We have had amazing faculties. Really intellectual and great to get along with They helped us via everything no matter how trivial There are CECs, assignments as a part of the internal examination, and 2 exams in each sem including mid sem

Internships Opportunities

Companies like SD Corp, JPMC, Jio Labs, FGLI, Aditya Birla any many more were available this time during the SIP programme The stipend used to vary from 8k-30k per month The roles offered were sales and marketing manager, digital marketing intern, finance intern, etc

Placement Experience

You are eligible for placements from sem 1 There has been interviewers coming for your SIP and if you perform well enough they provide you PPO and you get selected even before you've managed to finish your course Almost 98% of students get placed in our college The highest package has been 12-15 lacs

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees would be a tad bit higher considering it was an online program We weren't lucky enough to see the campus because of the pandemic but we've heard great reviews about the same Internships are also great, there are huge companies that come to the campus for hiring

Campus Life

There are a variety of clubs in our college Students never run out of options for their entertainment and extracurricular activities as there has been so many fests and webinar going on at the college. Even in the online platform clubs have made sure to keep the students engaged, they have their clubs page on Instagram, my personal favorite is officialsoundstreet.ibsm on Instagram which is the music club.

Interview Experience

The basic criteria to get selected based upon your CAT/NMAT/IBSAT marks We were prepared for a mock interview and mock GD All generic topics were provided for the GD I did my preparations by staying up to date with the news and improving my soft skills

My SBS Journey

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

To be honest there are placements but the placements are like no one want to be there it is just something unacceptable for the HR students . The promises the long talks are all false and they doesn't focus on students future and career rather they care for just attendance

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top. I would definitely recommend this college to the upcoming students those who are planning to do MBA in order to achieve goals and learn quality skills.

I applied for ibs mumbai because of it's location, teaching and faculty. It was according to my requirements.
