IIPS-DAVV, An Elevator to success.

IIPS-DAVV, an elevator to success my college is one the most admired college of Indore. Talking about my university ranking, DAVV is listed #36 rank in INDIA.

DAVV-CET entrance exam is conducted to get admission in this course. I scored AIR #23 in this test and get a chance to opt M.Tech course. M.Tech course is one of the famous course my college is offering. Placement rate is quite high as compared to other institutes. This is the reason i chose this course.

As my field is Information Technology (IT), talking about the course curriculum, it is fully balanced. A non-CS branch (in 12th) student will not face any difficulty in programming because all the faculties, professors are having good teaching experience and they are experts in their individual subjects.

M.Tech course last semester i.e. 11th sem is industrial project sem i.e student have to do internship from the industries in the IT field. College do not provide any internship but student have to find internship of their own. I have completed my internship from RRCAT, DAE, Govt. of INDIA, Indore. I got the stipend Rs1000/month from RRCAT only.

Placements are just incredible. I'm placed in three of the IT giants i.e. Infosys Ltd., TCS, WIpro. As my university is A grade state university so the placement rates are quite high as compared to the private institutes in Indore. There are many companies which come for the recruitment process : Accenture, Cognizant, Deloitte, Mu-Sigma, Amdocs, Adobe, HCL etc.

SYNERGY- an sports event, Expression, Tourista, Reboot, Technofelia are the events which are celebrated every year in the institute, SFURTI (University level) is conducted which are having many activities like sports (TT, Badminton, Volley Ball, Cricket, Chess), dance, fancy dress and my favorite ROCK Band.

Talking about the fee structure, as I'm of 2K11 batch my annual fees was 53000. But now fees is raised, now i think Rs 70000 annually. College also offer scholarship for SC ST OBC candidates. All the banks provide education loan so there is no problem in fee.

Scholarship is provided for SC ST OBC students only. Any student take take loan from the bank. I have taken education loan from SBI, RACPC, GPO, Indore. I do not face any problem in the loan process. Fees are paid through cheques which is provide the bank.

IIPS is one of the best colleges of INDORE. Talking about the gender ratio, there are equal number of girls student as of boys. Many sports facilities are available for sporty people. I'm a University Table tennis captain. The level of resources are quite awesome.

I'm localite but most of my friends resides in hostel. Hostels are having good facilities. Wifi is also available for the hostel students. There are 4 boys hostel and 3 girls hostel of the university. Fees of the hostels is 15000 per year mess facility is also good in the hostel.

It depends on the junior how interactive they are seniors are also very helpful there is an Alumni portal of the institute where alumni can interact with the juniors.

In a single semester (of 6 months), there are total 3 Internal test(Unit test) conducted, and at the end of the semester external exam is conducted which consist of theory subjects and viva internal test is of 20 marks each of which best of 2 are selected and the external examination is of 60 marks. Viva are also having good credits.

I got admission in this institute through DAVV-CET entrance exam 2011 after 12th. I have done M.Tech in IT from this institute which is a integrated program after 12th - 5 & half year course i.e. 11 semester [now this course is of 5 year]. Admission Process: After you shortlisted for the counselling process, you have to go for counselling at IIPS. If you want admission in M.Tech course then you must score good marks or rank in CET exam.

Many of the faculties are UGC-NET qualified. No doubt, they are just awesome. All the faculties are expertise in their own field. Faculties are having good knowledge in practical as well as theory subjects, students do not face any problem in practicals too. Technical faculties and management faculties both are having equal figures.
