The management to be honest is much better than other colleges, I personally hate bureaucracy, which is luckily not here if you are having any issues, you can easily access the management. Your issues will be managed.

I took SRMJEE, and scored 2000 rank in it. No other options were available for choosing other college.

The course structure is pretty good same as you would expect in any other engineering college, but from my perspective college doesn't matters, Knowledge matters. You cannot depend on teachers you have to gain knowledge and experience. #you are on your own.

Yes, Internships are provided, I have no idea about the stipend but you have the luck to get placed in dream companies and also super dream companies too.

Well placements depend much on your potential. A lot of dream and super dream companies come and offer jobs. Department of Mechanical Engineering is nearing about 100% job placement record. Students have no trouble finding coveted positions in reputed corporate and business houses that visit the campus every year, offering an excellent salary package on par with international standards. The consistent placement record illustrates the commitment to the success of the University.

Our college have a lot of fests. We have one main technical fest (AARUUSH) . It has a lot of technical events which gives bot knowledge and fun, a few hands on sessions are also there which gives practical experience on various topics.A lot of Cultural fests are also there just Google it.

The fee structure depends on your rank, if you score good rank your fees goes down. But of you have a undesirable rank then you're sold out truth is truth. But it is affordable for a decent rank. My fees is 1.5 lakhs per year. I think it is affordable for most of us for this fee If you compare with other engineering colleges.

SRM UNIVERSITY offers several scholarships, fee waiver schemes, teaching and research assistance to meritorious and deserving students. Large number of students tremendously benefit from such schemes. In 2014 – 2015 nearly 2173 students benefited from various schemes with a total of Rs. 23 crores distributed as scholarship.

As I told I'm doing Mechanical Engineering, so sex ratio is obviously low, hardly there are any girls in the class. If you are looking forward in making any girlfriends, you are choosing the wrong branch. In other branches you're good to go.Talking about sports, there are a lot of events in which you can expect to face tough competition overall it is fun.

You know this topic is pretty obvious. You cannot get a good menu in engineering colleges' mess but the quality of the food is very good, (that a plus point), as compared to other engineering colleges. If you still want some tasty food of your choice you can visit nearby dhabas and restaurants, they are really good! Speaking about hostels In case you are opting one, it is based on first come first serve basis, Ac room are also available. You can also stay in PGs with a decent price. Overall the hostels are neat(not that neat but manageable xD).But the toilets are not at all clean. You might have some issues but it's all engineering experiences every college will give you this experience.

You can surely have an added advantage if you have contact with some seniors, they can be a compass for your entire time in the college so be sure to have one.

The exams are divided into CAT(Continuous Assessment Test) and FAT(Final Assessment Test). In each semester there are two CAT and one FAT. CATs are like unit test each of which carry 15℅ weight age and FAT carry 60℅ of the total marks. Lab exams are also taken weekly if you have one.

I wrote SRMJEE and scored a rank of 2000. Then I went for admission, Initially you have to look for the form release date in internet. After that you will have to fill the form online, giving your details. The money for the forms has to be paid online, demand draft may be accepted, I don't remember much. Then download the syllabus and study well Incase you haven't.

In any college there will be some good faculties and some but of you have any doubts or need clarification you can visit their cabin. Some faculties are very qualified and you can do wonders by their help and many are research scholars you can access them if you are willing to write research papers.
