Bharath University - Overall good college for Engineering.

To conclude, I would say that Bharath University is a good (average) platform for pursuing your B.Tech, But I will advice to view more college reviews and take the decision. On basis of Placement drives Bharath University doesn't give that much of opport

I was Science Student in 12th from Odisha Board. I have given JEE and got a good score.

Course curriculum of all the engineering colleges are almost similar. As I have opted for I.T. course, I didn't find any difference in the course contents in compare to other colleges.

Our College didn't provide internship program for our batch 2006-2010. Asusual we have all the four year of course study then campus interview.

Now a days companies are clever enough to filter out colleges for placement drives. My 4th year completion time, I got opportunity to sit for a company called Lisux Corp., Kerala. I got job offer with a package of 2.98 Lacs. After 2 months of training I got to know that company is a fake one and I had to quit for better future of mine. Later I attended Cognizant Technology Solutions off campus, and I got selected with a package of 3.45 Lacs. Currently I am working with Mercedes Benz Research & Development India Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore. So, college does give opportunity to all the students in its placements but its not the last hope like what happened to me. So Guys! Better sharpen your skills and attend interviews, offcampus of different companies.

Regular Seminars were the part of College technical activities. As usual we also had a college cultural with very nice programs.

All Engineering College fee structure are magically increased a lot in this period. When I got admitted to Bharath University, my semester fees were 35000 INR.

No such thing was offered from Bharath University during our time. Even I am not sure if they are providing any such facilities now.

I remember my Hostel Time where every night we used to interact with College seniors. They were good in behaving with juniors. As you know Ragging was a big part of hostels, college had to give more attention towards to the same. From my past experience it was not like rash ragging of students, but it was more of like fun. So guys who are going to stay in hostel don't go in with a mind state that you will not listen to seniors, where as its always good to go there as a open minded person and mix with all the seniors.
