I qualified GATE examination and got enough percentile to get admissions for M.tech program. Since I was graduated from same college so don't have any second thought for course and college.

Third and fourth semesters are designed completely for industry exposure and expected from student to skilled them-self with nuance of metallurgy and materials science.

Events start from Fresher day, Hostel day and cultural fest nights. My favourite event is our hostel day. Where we celebrate includes various event like best dressed guy, most cleaned room and not least and last Best eligible bachelor from out hostel.

I can say our college fees structure is feasible. As College don't demand yearly fees and have half yearly fees provisioning really helps a lot to more parents and students.Mess fees is 30 K yearly. Admission fees 10 k and 50 k is semester fees. Close to tune 2 lacs yearly expense for a general students.

Yes, Loan facilities are available from many leading banks like HDFC/ICICI and SBI. For non-general and financial weak candidates. Many Government scholarships available.

We had a very old Alumni network by not of much use. Senior students are really great and helpful at work.

Exam structure is designed in a very iterative and planned way. Results are declared with in 100 hrs of last exam. More focus and weight on practicals and assignments. Grading systems are designed to cover each and every aspects of academic curricular like attendance, extra-curricular activities,practicals and subjective knowledge.

First, you to qualify gate examination conducted by IIT and then applied to VNIT M.tech program through separate application. First cut off based on your all India GATE rank and next round would followed by rank and first-cum-first served basis. Once you opt for seats of M.Tech program you need to submit the fees on semester basis close to 50 k.

Teacher to student ratio are abysmal and college administration were working to hard correct the ratio through Visiting and Augmented staff. As per HRD new circular M.Tech and Ph.d students are eligible to teach B.tech and M.tech students. In general available permanent teaching staffs are qualified and really good at teaching.
