Remarks

The minimum mark to avail of IBS Mumbai is 170 in NMAT. The admission process was offline and gd and PI were conducted. I also applied for IIMS, IMI, NMIMS and IMT. The overall gdpi was smooth because people were there at every step to guide me. There are many campuses around the country but the gdpi has to be taken at Hyderabad main campus of IBS.

Course Curriculum Overview

The biggest merit of being in IBS is the professors are of the highest order. Due to the location advantage, we got to enhance our knowledge from one of the best professors. If you wanna take finance as a major, IBS Mumbai is the best college because of its ROI and the company that visits.

Class Size: 1300Course Fees: INR 720000 per year

Internships Opportunities

When it comes to internships jmpc is the only good company. Whereas all the other companies are gonna be a startup or will ask you to sell the product. I don't expect any stipend. And if you are into finance again I would suggest money max and jpmc are your only best options.

Placement Experience

The placement of the college is great when it comes to IBS Mumbai. Dabur, Morgan Stanley, jbmc, Arcessium, Goldman Sachs, Black Rock other biggies visit our college premises. If you have the quality and the guts. You can cream our the best.

Fees and Financial Aid

IBS Mumbai stands as a leader when it comes to ROI. Your fees are 700000 whereas the placements in finance are 11,00,000-6,00,000 in range. Depending upon the quality of the student. Yes, IBS Mumbai does provide scholarships but it remains very little. It's like 4000 bucks per semester.

Campus Life

As my batch was the first to experience both the years online. But still, the clubs and every other activity were at par. When things become online you get a lot of time in your hand for certification. People aspiring for finance must appear for CFA level 1 ASAP.

Interview Experience

I used to watch YouTube videos. Learn from there and the overall admission process was smooth. People were there to handle the crowd of 5000 students from different states and dreams in their eyes. There were food and beverages available for the students and their families.

My SBS Journey

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top.
