My college experience

I applied for AIIMS and mamc but since my rank was in the 7000 range I hoped to get in lhmc which was my 3rd choice. I had the obc and Delhi quota. Min marks depend on the quota but I think for the general category it is 250+. The counselling process was very smooth as it was online. First, we have to apply for it and fill the choices and after 5 days lock the choices. Locking is most important. The counselling fee is 5000 and it was refunded after admission.

I always wanted to do MBBS course and that too from government medical college as the private college fees are not affordable for my parents as its range in chores. The student: faculty ratio is good as in each dept we have almost 20 professors and around 10 senior residents. The faculty is average. Some professors are really very good but others are not so good. The teaching method online is ppt based which is okay if the professor is explaining it quite well but if he/she is just reading from slides it become quite boring and the type of ppt made by the teacher also depend on how good he/she teaches. I had given my 1st term exam and they were just 3 months after starting of class and they were MCQ based and quite easy. Also in LHMC after completion of each unit, there is a stage to review how well u had understood the concept.

No idea about this. Since I am in 1st semester so I have no idea about any internship program but surely there must be. The internship after 4.5 years is compulsory. But companies offering them that I think is I have not heard about it till now.

Fees are quite low i.e 1350 per annum. I think after AIIMS it has the lowest fees. So there is no problem with not affording such meagre fees. But still, the college offers scholarships for students from low-income families and also those who excel well in academics.

Since from the day of admission to this day I had gone to campus for one day that was for a campus tour. So I have no idea about how the campus life is. But we have lots of societies which are active online mode also. And almost every student is in any one of the society. We have Viola, Aarohan, Perspective, Podium, Inkling, Qrious and a lot more.
