Remarks

I was preparing for jee but I found it hard so I opted for this college. it's a decent college in Udaipur City. Not many opportunities but you can get a very peaceful environment here no hustle or any serious pressure. Very chill college life. I am not sure but I got the admission through obc quota. Admission is based upon reap rank and I don't understand which criteria they are using lol. Counseling was not a big deal. It's all good and remembers don't forget to bring important documents on admission day.

Course Curriculum Overview

Electrical engineering is my type because I don't want to do any coding-related stuff and I don't want to do any machine-related stuff but I want to do engineering so electrical is the best option and I really like working with circuits. The faculty-student ratio is considerably high. Decent faculty, emphasize more on memorizing than understanding. Term exams were good, really good. Just read past 5-year papers and bingo you are promoted.

Placement is done in the 3rd and 4th year not many placements offer but you can get a job on your own. By learning important skills, if you are a deserving candidate you will definitely get a job. 20-30% of students get a job and the highest package is 12 lakhs

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are 42k something for one semester+exam fees+ hostel+ mess+library and other expenses. I don't know much about jobs and scholarships and other stuff. I don't think there are many. Please consider asking someone knowledgeable

Campus Life

There are not many fests or club activities. They only emphasize studies and no other activities. Even sports are not considered an important event. Book availability is not much good and but you can get some of them

My day by day growing college CTAE

Placement Experience:

Placement are decent in my point of view as college manage to provide campus placement to every eligible students as company ask for your Overrall grade point of the student and apply their standard as 6.5 ogpa or without any backlog and take exam of aptitude and it is based on company policy they take group discussion and then personal interview and if it is software company then coding rounds also. Students in7th semester are ready for placement. In current scenario 6 companies have visited the campus and around 40-45 offers has been given to students. Here each company come with only one package and different job roles some company came with 5.5 lpa and some with 5 lpa and some with 7 lpa so maximum till now from college is 7 lpa and average till now of placed students is 5.5 lpa. 60 percent of students get placed in past years stastics. My plan is to go for higher education ie mtech from good institution.

The placement of my college are good in electrical and mining branch the placement are very good while in other branch the placement is decent in this college many companies are visited like vedanta etc. many good companies are come here the 60 percent students are placed every year but in mining and ee the placement rate is almost 100 percent my plans after getting degree is to go in very good company with very good placement

Placement Experience:

Each year in seventh semester placement companies visit college for taking students. In mechanical engineering Vedanta and Secure meter come for taking students. The average placement of this college is seven to eight lakhs and highest placement is twenty two lakhs. The best part is the placement in core companies. The average placement CGPA REQUIRED FOR PLACEMENT IS SEVEN CGPA.

Glimpse of CTAE

I applied for many colleges like AMU(Zakir Hussain College of engineering and technology), Jamila Milia Islamia University for B.tech and appeared for JEE. I choosed CTAE because I did a thorough research about college and found it appealing for me. Yes I didn't get into Jamia Milia Islamia University because of their cut-off and didn't get any decent college during JEE councelling, that's why I chose CTAE. The admission is done through REAP(Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process), it accepts JEE score and 12th percentage as selection criteria and released ranks on their basis. It doesn't hold exam for selection process. We have to fill choices of colleges as oer our desire. They don't specify any cut-off particularly rather than they release ranks after evaluation of JEE score and 12th percentage. There are three rounds of councelling first round is for other state students, second round is for Rajasthan's students and third round is for upward movement. The upward movement is for students who don't get desired college so by applying for upward movement they can get better college and branch....Read More
