Nss college is a nice college where you can discover yourselves.

I applied for many other colleges and I got admission to vtb college and nss college. I opted nss college because i was more comfortable with that place and my campus experience was awsome.The admission process and all is simple. seats are more for gtovt merit and some seats are reserved for management..

I am a commerce student and it was my decision to take bcom. the faculty of PG department of Commerce , Nss college ottapalam are very good. they are very suporttive teachers. they do their duty perfectly. Internal exams were conducted timely and were mostly tough inorder to increase the tenure of the students . the semester exams are conducted by calicut university.

Campus placements are less but every year federal bank recruits a number of children from this college. also, they conduct a mega job fair for the students.The average package for these is around 30000 around 30 % of students usually go for jobs after their studies and the majority of the students go for higher studies.

The cost of the study is very less, It is below 5000 the are scholarships and e grants. it is affordable for the lowest income groups of the society. There are egrants from the government which could be availed by the lower-income groups. they don't have to pay any amount of fees. not even exam fees.

I have enjoyed my campus life very much. always the campus is full of programs. starting with the union elections, union day, arts day, zonal programs, Interzone, college day .etc. the infrastructure is a little old and the management is doing many works to renovate it. the are many extracurricular activities and a good sports department. many clubs are working like art club, quiz club, etc. The National Service scheme works very efficiently in the college. I was selected for the national integration camp representing the Calicut university with the guidance and support of the college.
