JEE mains I scored 146 marks and got 28401 rank. The best with this much rank I could do was UIET only keeping branch in mind as computer science.

Course structure is as per the mark. All the subjects offered spell their unique meanings. Talking about my subjects(BE 3rd semester) we are offered data structures and algorithms, database management system, microprocessors, economics and discrete structures covering all important parts of computer science and engineering.

Yes many companies come here for internships . Reputed companies like quark deliotte come here for internship.Some laborious students even opt for off campus internships and a few of them were able to get internship in Google.

Placements are quite good at Uiet. The average package being 4 lacs per annum and the highest being 7.2 lacs per annum. Some students also get higher packages by off campus placements . Some of them are placed in google and Microsoft too. Also the percentage of students placed is very fine.

All technical, cultural and management festivals occur within a year many a times in UIET. Cultural event is named Agaaz which also include some fun events. Fest is named Goonj which occur in March in UIET. They include many companies events and students from different colleges come here to attend them.

Fee structures is quite feasible ,not too much expensive. Tuition fee is about 73000 per year including all the fee for lab and equipments. The hostel fee is about 530 per month and mess and canteen are charged on the amount of food eaten. About 1.2 lacs are spent on an year.

Yes, our college offers means cum merit scholarship for laborious students. There is also loan facilities available for poor students.

Gender ratio is almost 1:1. The amount of girls and boys are almost the same. There are many groups like training and placement cell, entrepreneurship development cell for the extra curricular activities. Students from different parts of the country come here to study. In my class there are students from utar Pradesh, bihar etc.

Yes alumni are very helpful.they come here on regular basis to encourage the students. Our alumni are almost in every big MNCs. They talk with us about how to approach these big companies.

In a week there are three days for labs and spend 4 hours for each lab. The labs are very interesting . we are able able to see how things actually move whatever we study in our classes. The teachers are very friendly in the labs and the lab assistants too are very helpful.

First of all I gave JEE mains exam and scored 146 marks and got AIR 28401 and then I filled JAC Chandigarh form and opted computer science in UIET. Then I was supposed to come here for documents verification. All the process was friendly and within a week the classes begin.

All the faculty are well qualified. All of them have done PhD from reputed institutions and they do their best in teaching the students from very beginning to the very depth. They focus on all students properly especially the students weak in studies and motivate them to work harder.
