Remarks

I would like to say that the college is very helpful in solving the doubts of the student in any subject. The faculty is very cooperative in taking extra classes to make the students completely comprehend the course material. The college provides the perfect environment to enable the student to come out as a very informed and educated individual who is well versed in tackling all situations in management.

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty is very helpful and takes extra effort in order to make the student understand the concept. The faculty and student ratio is 1:35 which is very good The faculty is well informed and qualified The exams occur after 4 to 5 months and you need not only theoretical but also practical knowledge to pass the exam

Internships Opportunities

There are various companies like Deloitte, IBM and blackberry, Google coming for placement in the college in order to get interns from the college. The internship for sales, marketing,finance comes in the college in order to get fresh talent.

Placement Experience

There are many companies that visit the campus in the fourth semester the various companies come in order to recruit students The percentage of students is very _ very high in the college. The highest package is 10 lakhs per annum and the average is 4.5 per annum

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are decided by the main university and college has to abide by it and it is comparatively low The scholarship is provided to the student who does well in their respective courses and as well as the college is very cooperative while giving scholarships to students

Campus Life

Books are provided by the college library itself for every semester and students have to pay 1500 rupees and then the college will provide people with every book. Sports and curricular activities are encouraged by college and sports like cricket football volleyball etc is played

The Real Unbiased Truth of JIMS Kalkaji

Placement Experience:

Placements of my college are average when compared with other B-schools of similar level. The companies which have visited so far for internships are mostly start ups like Wealth Blue and Outlook, but some other companies like ITC, Bajaj Capital and Coca Cola moon beverages have also come on campus. The highest stipend promised so far is 15,000 for 3 months or 10,000 per month for 2 months. A lot of students are yet to be placed, both for final and summer placements. My plan is also to get a job post my PGDM.

Compass provide a place the highest package our were born is 20 lakhs per annum from the Fite department and the average placement gets around 8 to 10 laks and the minimal is7-8 lakhs. The placement is good in sales and finance department. Most of the companies comes for sales and Management. You can also offer for the finance.

Placement Experience:

From 4th trimester onwards that if from August onwards after coming back from 3 months summer internships, companies come for placements and students can apply to the companies. The companies that visited campus are DELOITTE, KPMG, ACCENTURE,TCS, RANDSTAD,ICICI,SBI, MOTILAL OSWAL, BAJAJ, ASIAN PAINTS, ADITYA BIRLA, BLACKROCK, GRIDLINES etc. and many more. The highest package of our batch went for 24 lakhs( Oman based company) , average went around- 7-8 lakhs , lowest - 4.5-5 lakhs. Profiles offered- Sales head, operational manager, Deputy branch manager, Junior Analyst, Analyst, HR - talent acquisition team , underwriting team etc. Right now more than 80% of students have gotten placed and rest are in the placement process which will be till April. I have been placed in ICICI LOMBARD for Underwriting and Claims process and will be joining the company soon.
