Pega certified student placements

I visited many colleges such as Galgotia, G.L. Bajaj and IIMT, and NIET also. Finally, when I visited these colleges I selected NIET as my college and selected ECE as my branch because in other colleges there were some problems to get desired branch as well as in some colleges building was not good and there were no such facilities provided. I chose this college due to I get referred by my relative that from this college I also get my B.Tech. done and placement in this college is good. My admission was a direct one and in that minimum marks needed was 70% and that is must get the desired branch in our college but presently 75% is the minimum criteria. And in the case of direct admission, we have faced a qualifying exam that included 12th class science basics as well as full 10th class science. In counseling, our college came 3rd in greater Noida. And in the present days, my college was 2nd in the year 2020.

I chose this course as my interest and also I met my relative also who said this college is good. In our college faculty to student ratio is good and that is 15 students per faculty. Firstly all the faculty members in our college are M.Tech. and more than half of them are Ph.D. also and some of them as per the course is MBA also. In our college, all the faculties teach on the board(traditional way) but also on the projector(the modern way) and all the classrooms are equipped with that and all the faculty members are having a laptop for teaching aids and they daily prepare PPT and present it on projector most of the time. In case of our exams or the sessionals and PUT the faculty members generate moderate to the difficult type of papers which are much difficult to solve than University but this made us some clear and confident idea about what questions we will face in end sem examinations.

In my college, I was enrolled under UAP(University Accreditation Program) which was Pega System Architect in that there are two certifications which are CSA and CSSA. In this certification course, each and every student made an application fully developed on the cloud and that is the internship task given by pega and after the project only we get certified. And after getting those certificates we got placement offers by different companies which run Pega Software. This training/internship is fully paid for by a trainee and after completion, we get some offer letters. In this current pandemic situation also the placement offers have not decreased more and our college tried so much in getting each and every student placed.

From the last of 6th sem, only companies start coming to our college and our college also helps in getting their students placed. TCS, Capgemini, TechM, Virtusa, Pegasyatems, Vivo mobile and many more. The highest package in our college is 25 LPA and average package in our college is 4-4.5 LPA and profiles offered are software engineers, cloud beginner, System Architect, Devops engineer, and production department also and many more as per company vacancy. In our college, 80-90% of students are getting placed but in a pandemic, this number has decreased but then also our college comes 2nd place in greater Noida in terms of placements.

Our college focuses on its facilities provided to the students but not on increasing fees every year. That's why in our college the fees hike policy is just 4-5k per year and cost to study doesn't make any burden on the parents specially in this pandemic our college has not increased fees. In our college there is standard UP scholarship available and all the management staff is good and helps the needy student to get that. And whosoever tops the college or his/her branch also is offered some cash rewards and much more. In this college the placement structure is also good and around 80-90% students are placed every year and in this pandemic also our college stands 2nd in terms of placement.

In our college Tech fest also held in the month of August/September and final year students organize that and we all take part in that. It includes races, outdoor games such as cricket, basketball, football etc and many fitness freak games such as shortput javelin throuch etc and also there are some events such as some activities and computer games and I also take part in one game which was NFS Most Wanted and I came 2nd in that. Our college is having one library also which is sufficient to get a good knowledge. And our classrooms are just normal but they are having stair case benches which makes a lecture hall feel and they are fully ventilated and in our college all the labs are having AC. Our college final year students also runs some social societies such as for singing, dancing, as well as society related to environment also runs in which one society named Green Gold society whose work is to plant more and more plants in our college.
