Review on Panimalar Engineering College

I have applied in RMK Engineering college, RMD Engineering college and Panimalar Engineering college. Finally I got seat in Panimalar Engineering College .I have applied for the college through Government Quota. The admission process is completely online and only for the verification progress I went in person to the college and got verified all my details further. The minimum marks to be obtained for the Government quota is about 480 out of 600 and the age to apply is 17 or 18.

I have chosen Information Technology because of my personal interest and I am good at programming.The number of students per class is about 60 and faculty is assigned for each and every subject.The Qualification of the teacher is that every teacher should complete the Phd degree and only then the teachers will get appointed.The exams occurs once in 2 months.There will be three internal exams and one model exam.The difficulty of the exam is medium.Those who are good at understanding the concepts can clear the exam easily.

The companies are TCS, Wipro, infosys, and cts. They hire students based on the performances . The roles will be like web developer,content developer,app developer and so on. The projects that students should undergo must be the real world project. If any doubts students can clarify with the teachers .

The campus placements start for the students in the third year itself. The companies such as TCS,Wipro,CTS, Infosys,adobe and fidelity solutions are the commom companies that comes for the placements in the campus. The highest salary package is around 15 lpa and the average salary package is around 3 lpa. The salary package differs based on the performances. 95 percentage students in Information Technology get placed every Year. My plan is to work for a reputed organization after getting a degree.

The tution fees are about 75,000 and bus,mess fees is around 50,000 and in total the fees for government quota students is about 1,25,000 and fees for the management quota students differs.For the management quota the fees is arount 1,50,000.Students who comes from other districs or the one who needs hostel facilities can stay in the hostel.The hostel fees is about 75,000. First graduate Students and government quota students gets sholarship based on their marks.

There will be only one fest conducted in the college called the college day whereas the techfest alone is conducted usually once a month. There are all kinds of books and journals in the library. All students can go to the library whenever they need to refer to the books. only the sports quota students can play sports inside the campus other than that no students can play on the ground. But the extracurricular activities such as content writing and essay writing, speech competition occurs. There is a social club on Instagram which is maintained by the students of our college to update the regular status of the college.

The Hostel facilities are extraordinary. Students can feel completely safe in the hostel. There can be four students in one room and the rooms are well cleaned. The quality of the meal is also good. There will be two mess namely vegetarian and nonvegetarian mess. Students can eat based on their requirements. While getting admission to the college, students should enquire about the hostel and fill the form if given. The hostel is inside the college campus.
