I applied to a couple of colleges including MIT, BITS, VIT, DU, and IPU. Due to the pandemic and lockdown, I was unable to give certain exams. So, I got admission into MSIT as I matched the percentile required in JEE MAIN. Since I belong to the general category, I did not qualify for any quota. The admission process was pretty simple and I didn't face any difficulties. Students obtaining a percentile of more than 90 are eligible for admission to MSIT. the minimum age is 18.

I chose the course B.Tech Information technology because I have a keen interest in the subject and MSIT is known for offering good B.Tech courses. the faculty: student ratio is 1:15. The faculty members in our college are quite qualified and many have done their M.tech and even further studies. The teaching method of teachers is pretty understandable and interesting too. The teachers also help us with extra preparation. The exams taken were easy to understand and solve. the difficulty level of the exams was intermediate. Students having basic knowledge of the concepts were able to pass the exams easily.

Internship opportunities are provided from the 2nd year. Some internships are performance-based and some are paid. Information about internships is given by the college from time to time. There are a lot of companies that offer internships in our college.

The placements offered by MSIT are very good. the highest package till now is 55LPA. Companies like Google and Microsoft offer jobs to a lot of students. The other main companies are TCS, HCL, Amazon, Uber, and many more. Every year 90% of the students get placed. The students are eligible for students after the 6th semester. My plans after the degree are to pursue further studies.

The fee for B.Tech is 1,35000 rs. per year for most of the courses. There is no such fee hike and the cost of studying is pretty affordable. There are many scholarships for students provided by AICTE and Delhi government. For some students, a separate scholarship is provided by GGSIPU.

The college has technical fests like enva, genesis, and Avensis. There are many different cultural fests too. These fests are very fun and mostly conducted in January month. The library in our college has a number of books with a good sitting capacity. The classrooms are also well spaced. the main sports here are football and cricket. There are also a lot of clubs and societies to take part in. extracurricular activities are given special treatment here.
