I have applied for LNMIT, IPU Delhi, jossa, and some private colleges. But I didn't attend any of them because of not good branch, money and location. The fess of some private is very high. I am from the general quota. The admission process is completely online. All the authorities are helpful.

I chose ECE as I have an interest in AI, robotics. Faculty to student ratio is good. All the teachers are highly qualified., Ph.D. holders. They conduct exams on time and one of the good things about this university is that we get timely results of examinations. You have to submit your assignment before exams. They conduct two minors and one major. The best of two in minors will be considered for evaluation. However, in online mode, you don't have to worry about exams you can pass easily but you need to study well for majors in online mode also. Overall they have a good examination process.

You can get an internship in the college department for many roles and apply for good tech companies by yourself. The internship is totally dependent on the skills you have. College also gives some kind of industrial training. Many companies like DELL, Coding ninjas, etc. Provides campus ambassador program in which you can get goodies, coupons, laptops for free. I haven't done any big projects till now.

Placement is good and one important thing placements are increasing day by day. From the third year itself, they will start to prepare for placement and you can take placement after the end of the third year itself.TPC which is the placement cell of uiet is very good. Campus placement is good for technical students. There is a low placement for non-tech students and nearly 0 placement for biotech students. Some big companies such as Amazon,Samsung , goldmen sach, also came for recruitment. Some consultancy companies also come for placement. One of the seniors is also placed in google. The highest is around 20--25 lac CTC and the average placement is 7 lac CTC. Nearly 70% percent students are getting placement. My first plan is to get a good job, gain some experience, then I will start my own startup.

The fees are quite decent. The fees amount is very low in comparison to many colleges. As such good college in affordable money. No such fee hike policy is there in our college. No, I am not taking any scholarships. But I am giving details which I heard from seniors, the college provides many scholarships based on the entrance exam and some state government scholarship is also available on the university portal. University also provides students facility of part-time jobs.

They conduct one big Annual fest every year and they also invite celebrities. I don't know much about tech fest because of online classes but they conduct tech. Software freedom is a very large tech fest in which different colleges take part. As uiet is part of Panjab university so no worries about the fest. There is almost every month fest. The library is well maintained and it contains many books, you should not worry about. There is almost ground of every sport. The sports facilities are very good. You can take part in many extracurricular activities. There are many clubs run by students like there is one of the main technical clubs run by students. If you join you will regret joining it. There are also organizations like NSS, NCC, NYCI, which are runs by students and their high rank people.
