Learn from experience of others

I had registered for IBSAT, on the allotted day and slot the IBSAT was conducted, I didn't avail for any quota, after the result was announced I received a letter to GD & PI round at IBS Hyderabad campus (which is compulsory for everyone as a part of the process) before going to the GD & PI there was a period of around 2 months and IBS team asked the students to register for grooming session where they discussed how will the process go at Hyderabad Campus and prepare us for GD & PI by conducting mock GD & PI. The process was flawless as I could get all the information from the grooming sessions. For any doubts regarding the whole process there was an alloted counsellor constantly in touch with me which made the process a cake walk

The reason for choosing this course was for getting a good job. The faculty student ratio is good enough 1:60, all the faculty is an expert in the respective subject it's upto the students to take knowledge from the faculty. Also the faculty is very supportive. Talking of the exams what I liked was the CEC (valuation test) before mid terms, it kind of pushes you to study and prepares you partly for mid terms same for mid terms it prepares you for final exam

Internship opportunity was given by the college I was selected as an intern at Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance. The stipend was 10k and on performance it offered incentives too The project was an major part of the SIP got to research on a topic using SPSS

The placement team is constantly in touch with the students for guidance on selection process The highest package known so far is 50 lakhs (abroad placement) in the 2019-2020 batch. 97% are placed from the batch 2021 My plan after completing this course is to get a good job and excel in my career

Fees are properly charged. It's just that during COVID-19 some relief to students should have been considered. Otherwise the option of partly fee payment did help to making fee payment. Scholarship is provided to all students you just need to apply for it, anyone who has scored above 7.50 CGPA received an amount of approx 2.5k in the name of scholarship, also the college provides part time job in the library with a stipend due to COVID situation I was unable to explore that part

The annual fest is Konflux and it's a whole lot of fun going around This year for the batch of 2020-2022, we had everything online, even if it was online there was a lot of fun due to various competitions, programmes going around, each one can participate in a competition or any of the Konflux events as there are many events and nobody feels left out. There are many clubs in IBS which gives the opportunity to each student to lead so one should make the most out of it. Even during the COVID, all the clubs at IBS were active in conducting events. Unfortunately due to COVID, I haven't really experienced life at campus and due to even sports and other offline activities were not explored

Preparing for the GD and PI was very well supported by IBS itself because of the grooming sessions they provided on campus before going to Hyderabad Campus. Detailed information on GDs and PIs where given. The types of questions asked for PI were also provided. GD topics were provided for practice at home and also taken GDs in those sessions. I went back to the PI questions & GD topics after coming home mostly for GD & PI we need GK so reading news is a must, also googled and saw videos of how to handle questions helped
