Entrance Preview
EAMCET 17374. At that time ECE was top branch and college also having good name. I want to study in my hometown. It was second best engineering college in warangal first was KITS. I didn't get ECE in kits so I had chosen SREC. The college is worst. My advise is not to go for it.
Internships Opportunities
No, They don't provide. Money wise they are very much rude. Everything we have to pay in time. We used have fine system. That means if we get less marks in internal(less than 9) out of 20 we should pay fine. Otherwise they don't allow for external.
Placement Experience
That time our college was in block list. As it done some kind of frauding in our seniors placements in WIPRO. Only few companies came.One of them six sigma. This company also frauding company. They collected money from the selected candidates and after that they closed company.
College Events
Every two years once they celebrate sparkril. It consists of many events which includes technical and non technical like rangoli, Mr and miss, dance competitions, best paper selection. Only event that we enjoyed a lot. There used to be some paper presentations events.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee is as per university norms. That time all colleges under JNTUH used to have same fee. The fee was used to be 22,500 no reimbursement for general candidates like me. At the time of joining we have to pay 6500 rupees. Some of my friends they used to get fee reimbursement as they submitted income certificate.
Fees and Financial Aid
One friend taken educational loan and others used to get scholarship/ fee reimbursement of 10000 for academic fee and 1000 for hostel fee yearly.
Campus Life
Sports only available was carrom for girl students. Few times used to pay shuttle also. There used to inter department and intra department sports. Gender ratio around 100:60. We used to go to sports rooms only to check weight. My boy classmates they always used to play cricket.
Admission
Through eamcet counselling. That was conducted in government polytechnic college in warangal. I attended counselling two times. First I got admission in EEE next counselling I have chosen ECE. Even I got admission in kits warangal but only in Mech and Civil. Mech and Civil that time don't have craze.
Faculty
They always available but pay scale for them very less. So faculty wise there were no experienced candidates. Most of them were with just B.tech qualification. But they were very friendly. Doubts wise they are not much knowledgeable.
