Remarks
I applied to many affiliated colleges under Mumbai University for BMS & BMM, but I finally opted for BMS (finance) in Smt. MMK College, Bandra. I was in the open category from a science background, the admission process was smooth and the clerks coordinated really well.
Course Curriculum Overview
The faculty provided by the MMK College to its students is quite nice, there were interactive sessions, group discussions, presentations, proper lectures, and also the mentors are quite helpful and treated everyone equally. I choose this BMS course to know about the funda of business studies, how it operates in the real world and to gain interpersonal skills also, and this course has met my expectations. Coming to exams, there were internal & external exams per semester, (total there were 6 sems in the entire course)
Internships Opportunities
There were no such particular Internships/ jobs provided by the college. Even if they did, most of the roles required a minimum of 1-2 years of experience which was practically impossible. Apart from that, most of the profiles were sale- oriented rather than management or finance
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure is okayish, they provide scholarships to the top 3 students per course. In the last year 2020, the fees were a little bit high than expected. I didn't get any placement by the campus. They provide marketing & sales profile more as compared to finance profile.
Campus Life
There were lakshya fest in BMS, later which got merged in enthusia. I participated in lakshya fest. The fest occurs annually. There were no such extra kinds of extracurricular activities provided by the campus. One has to participate only in special events.
