Experience till date with IBS

Symbiosis Pune SSBF attended the process but did not select for final admission. At IBS the score was 150+ in Nmat & I got selected and was called to Hyderabad for the interview process. Before the process, there was a brief session with parents at the Mumbai campus. At Hyderabad, there was a short briefing followed by a group discussion process and then an interview.

I chose this course as I wanted to do a management course as I m from a commerce background. I wanted to get into the financial sector and was keen to know how the Corporate world, its threats, and opportunities. The faculty here is like a package of knowledge and experience. The rate is around 200+ faculty and 1200 students per year. The teaching methods are case study solving and analysis. The exams are tough but can be solved easily if the concepts are understood properly. Timely exams were mid send and end-term at intervals of 2 months. There is continuous evaluation also.

There are many companies like jpmc, iifl, Aditya Birla, Amul, etc which come to recruit and offer various profiles which are opted by the students. Some offer stipends on performance while some are fixed. There are non-paid internships too. Various tasks are assigned as managing social pages/portfolios, client acquisition, insurance, etc.

More than 95% get placed every year. I want to get a good placement that will help me to explore the corporate world. All the knowledge I gained in my 2-year course will be implemented and which will help me to get a better position in the company I will be placed.

Fees are as per the schedule and can be affordable compared to other institutions. The merit scholarship is for all above a certain scores. Summer internships are paid as well as non-paid. Jobs in final placement are really worth paying the fees.

Konfluz main fest of college pls 21 clubs which have so many activities happening every month. Books are available on campus as well as online. Classrooms are good and clean. Social workgroup of college, finance, marketing all domains n skills clubs are present.

There was a mentor appointed for continuous guidance start from applying for the college then interview registration then. Till the process gets done. Even after that till the final admission fees are paid they assisted us.
