The admission criteria of the college is based upon your 12th boards' performance. The college accepts a minimum of 45% and provides for a scholarship if the percentage is 90+ or, if the candidate has Uttarakhand state domicile.

Course Curriculum Overview

Law has always been my area of interest so I chose it. The faculty-student ratio is around 1:26. Almost all teachers have a phD or a minimum of M.A. degrees. The teaching method is adequate and are responsive to student's queries. A semester has 3 exams- 2 internals and 1 external, with a marks distribution of 40 and 60 simultaneously. The paper is set not so hard but the marking is quite tough.

Internships Opportunities

College provides for internships but students mostly prefer to pursue other ways for the same since options here are limited. In that case, as it is, college refers to certain sites and platforms to look for.

Placement Experience

Most students go for judicial services exams for this college, and as history has it, it has given many judges around the nation. The campus provides placements as well, although the package is seemingly less as compared to the ones provided by subsequent NLUs.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college fees spikes by 10% every year. It is upon one's discretion to opt for a hostel or not. Scholarships are provided if the candidate has a board percentage of 90+ or if they avail a state domicile.

Campus Life

The annual fests are conducted in the month of November, yearly by the name of Yuva fest. The library has a good collection of academic books. They are available online as well by the college portal. Competitions are arranged on campus, be it academic or sports. Also, various clubs like a moot court, cultural society, literary society are open to all.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel is divided into several blocks and each avail around 500 beds. One can choose the bedding upon one's own choice. The mess is adjacent to hostels and provides both veg and non-veg food. For registration, one has to contact the administration and avail of the desired room.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Bballb is best course and they have good faculties for law. Curriculum really prepares us a lot for real worls applications or further academic pursuits. Exams are for 3 hrs. This is the maximum time provided.

A small but thorough review on law college Dehradun and Raja University

Placement Experience:

students become available for campus placements in the second semester of the final year for example in BTech student can appear for campus placements in the seventh semester and if they are placed they can receive an NOC from the college and continue their services in the place Corporation and come back in the eighth semester only for their final exam examinations. a few companies that have visited our campus for placements are Zscaler , pyramid, IBM, grant Thornton with highest packages reaching up to 1.5 CR campus placement depend upon the number of students appearing for it but most of them end up getting placed.

Law college dehradun an overview.

Placement Experience:

Students of final years become eligible for campus placement. The highest package was 50 lakhs and average is of around 3-5 lakhs. Most of the students opt or litigation or judiciary but those who opt for corporate placement have been placed at good places. I have not decided what I'll opt for yet.

Remarks:

As I had passion for learning about our Indian constitution and with having an aim to join a good legal firm in future I decided to join UPES for giving 5 years for me to gain more knowledge about our Indian legal system, also this college has a different specialisation of energy study, which made me more attracted towards this university as this course seems to me the more future proofing.

I went for this college mainly because it is just little far from my home which is better because it near my house in just kilometres only that's why I go for this college and admission process for this college as they give scholarship of girls 5%. Things to Know about Uttaranchal University before admission.

I have applied also for Chandigarh Group of Colleges Landran and mohali , Chandigarh University and Quantum University Haridwar I have got a confirm addmission in chandigarh group of colleges mohali but I haven't got admission there as it was far away from my home. Also I got registered in Quantum University by submitting 10000 registration fees but later on I have changed my college to Uttaranchal University anyhow even I don't know why even I was selected and fulfilled the criteria for all other applied colleges.
