Remarks
While I was applying to this college the process is very easy. I had a person assigned to me and he helped me during the whole process. So, when I heard about it I really liked the campus structure and academic life, and to simply say I loved every the number of things the university is able to offer to us. And when you get through the admission process, you will be given the academic calendar before the semester starts, and even while joining I didn't have much of a problem.
Course Curriculum Overview
I initially didn't have a clear picture of computer science engineering. But in the last 2 years, my complete perspective has changed for the course. The major pro point in the university is you get to learn things beyond the syllabus you have. I personally think with new emerging trends in the computers field it's always important for us to be flexible and learn new things whenever needed, and I have learned that in college. As much as academic learning is important for students self-learning is also very crucial. The faculty ratio is 1:16 which is a great thing. It gives academic attention to the students. All our professors have a really great educational background and they are always there to help us. We are having a great mentorship from them. We have 1 mid-term and the end term for every semester and the remaining marks will be mostly taken from assignments, labs, and quizzes.
Internships Opportunities
A few of them got internships from Hewlett Packard, zs associates, and lido and a few of them got the package of 80,000 per month. I think it's a very good stipend from the companies in India. You get to do projects in the university every semester in many forms of hackathons/assignments. So you get to have a large hand on practical experience with whatever you learned. And even you wanted to personal projects you can consult anyone from the university and they are ready to help you anytime. I am personally doing my internship in a small startup now. So, far it's going great.
Placement Experience
The students will be eligible for the campus placements from the end of 3rd year. In the meanwhile college sometimes provides us with few wonderful internship opportunities. Few of my seniors bagged very good placements like companies from Microsoft, Amazon, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, etc. The highest package is 44 CTC from Microsoft. And 1 in every 4 students has bagged a package of 10 lakhs per annum. The average salary is about 6.9 lakhs per annum. I am still planning on what to do after my engineering. For now, I'm trying to explore every option I have and see which one fits me better.
Fees and Financial Aid
I had to pay 150000 as academic fees when I joined. And got a 75000 scholarship in my first year. I think if we work harder and keep maintaining our grades it's easy to bag a very good amount of scholarship. It also motivates the student to work harder every semester. And most people the fee is quite high compared to other colleges. l, but with the quality of education, labs, and mentorship it's very reasonable for what we pay.
Campus Life
Our annual fest is known as Uphoria and it happens in February every year and along with the annual fest, we have sports fests, cultural fests, and many more. We also get to go and participate in many other university fests. We have 2 huge libraries in the college. One for law and other for the other branches. We get to have a very good collection of textbooks. Along with textbooks we also have many novels and magazines for boredom. Even from we get to have access story many books for free. We have 2 kinds of classrooms. One is the lecture hall which is very big and the other is your tutorial classrooms with your assigned respective batches. The lecture halls have a very good quality of projects and sound system. And at the university, you could get very wifi. Bennett university offers a wide range of sports. You can choose cricket, basketball, badminton, tennis, table tennis, swimming, football, kabaddi, etc. University tries to constant engagement. You also have more than 10 clubs.
Hostel Facilities
For the hostel, you could either choose triple or double sharing. Rooms are very spacious and you will be provided with a bed, a study table and a big almirah. And we have common washrooms. There are always people to clean them from time to time so it's mostly clean. You can get your room cleaned twice a week. And the helpers are also very kind and help you at any time. For the meals, we have 2 very big cafeterias. We have food in a buffet manner. We have a very wide variety of menus here. You get to have many options. On the breakfast menu, you get to have at least one type of cereal, bread(you can also toast them), any Indian breakfast like paratha, poori bhaji, idli, vada and also we have fruits also along with coffee and milk. The lunch and dinner menus are quite similar. We almost have 2 to 3 curries to choose from along with your rotis and rice, salad. And in the evening you get to have a snack meal. You can get your registration of the hostel on the time of arrival.
Other Applied Colleges
LPU | Computer Science engineering
LPU is a very mass populated college, so I didnt think I would get much academic attention
