I applied for NMIMS Mumbai but got less in NMAT. No quota was availed for admission. Admission criteria were to clear both GD and PI rounds. We had to pass the GD round to go for a PI and then we were selected on our performance in GD/PI.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course cause I wanted to do MBA as a post-graduation and develop and sharpen my skillset for entering the corporate world. Sufficient faculty members for students. Faculties are highly qualified to our knowledge. Term exams were once in 4 months.
Internships Opportunities
A lot of company's come from many years and many well-known ones which recruit people for their skills and there is a major change in students pre and post-internship. We are also requested to document all the work done during the stipulated period and make a project on the same. And then we give vivas based on our summer internship projects.
Placement Experience
College offers us placement facilities, as well as internship facilities when the candidate is shortlisted for an interview our CV n all, is sent to the same concerned company and then our interviews are scheduled, and based on that we are given a job opportunity.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees are really high compared to online classes we feel the fees should be reduced as there was no campus exposure. We pay approx. 8.5 lakhs for two years. Which is a lot for doing a PGPM program from home. And I self-financed the course.
Campus Life
Honestly, I don't know cause we haven't been to the campus cause of covid 19 but this year if we are blessed enough to have offline college for our last sem then we are sure it's going to be an experience worth remembering.
Interview Experience
Yes, I did face a GD. The topic was whether senior citizen homes are important in India or they are not necessary. We were given 15 mins to discuss the following topic and give our views on the same. I did attend mocks provided by the college itself for our GD and PI rounds which helped a lot.
