Our Gurudas College

The admission process was quite existing. I went to the college for the first time and saw a large number of students gathering in the college area. I entered the college gallery where all the admission seekers sit down. Then the teachers entered the gallery. I was quite nervous at that time. The teachers introduced themselves. Then they told me that 60 students were eligible for the first-year batch. then they started to call the names from the top. She called my name at 45. It means I got selected in the 1st year batch in mathematics honors. Then I pay the admission fees which is about rs 10000 and after 1 month our class started.

Since childhood mathematics was my favorite subject. Besides I always got the highest marks in mathematics consistently. That's why I choose math honors as my b.sc course. But now I realize that it's not easy to study mathematics honors. It's so hard to have good marks in this particular course. I am enjoying the course as my teachers are very friendly and helpful. They always ready to help students and solve their problems. This is a 3 years course with 6 semesters biannually. There are 3 or 4 papers in each semester. Each paper 65 marks written and 35 marks internal exam. The passing mark is 35 percent.

Every year we have to pay the admission fee once and the semester fee twice. The admission fee of each year would be Rs7000 To Rs10000. And the semester fees 2500 on average. We have to pay the admission fee at the starting of the year and the semester fee before the semester. Besides that our college provides some internal scholarship also to the students with financial Crysis. In that case, we have to submit the income certificate with the signature of our parents. There are no campus jobs facility in our college.

In our college, there is a large library with various kinds of books. So we can take any kind of book for a month with the help of a student card. We can also print the book pages in a very low cost. Besides every year a book fair is held in our college. various kinds Of books are available at the fair. We can buy our study books and also storybooks from the book fair at a very low cost. Besides sports and extracurricular activities are also organized in our College. We students can participate in that.
