Remarks

admission process included a personal interview only. Due to COVID GD/PI had been cancelled and marks were based on CAT. The counselor was provided by college during admission process. Did not have any quota for admission. There was no age criteria for PGPM. The admission process went smoothly although it was online. DId not face any issues personally and induction lectures were provided as well. Other classmates who had applied before COVID had their admission process in Hyderabad.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course as I was interested in marketing. I wanted to study management and wanted a good placement as well. Faculty is good to help a lot and do not pressurize. Highly qualified professors. The student ratio is good.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 800000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is good but a bit high. However, as IBS is premiere institute banks easily provide loans that help. The scholarship is provided to high-scoring students every semester. The stipend is provided to digital ambassadors of college who create social media presence of college

Campus Life

KONFLUX is an annual fest held at IBS Mumbai every year in December. Due to COVID did not visit the library but according to see seniors library is great. All amenities are provided in the classroom. Sports is motivated in college. Different clubs exist to support extracurricular activities other than studies. Students gain knowledge from clubs as well

My SBS Journey

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

Placement Experience:

To be honest there are placements but the placements are like no one want to be there it is just something unacceptable for the HR students . The promises the long talks are all false and they doesn't focus on students future and career rather they care for just attendance

The placements opportunities are very good. mostly the whole batch gets placed. big companies like google and Microsoft come to campus and recruit a good number of students. it has a good average package in summers about 160000 per month.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

Remarks:

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top. I would definitely recommend this college to the upcoming students those who are planning to do MBA in order to achieve goals and learn quality skills.

I applied for ibs mumbai because of it's location, teaching and faculty. It was according to my requirements. There were sessions for GD, PI and other guidance. There was GD round after that PI was taken , I gave ibsat and got total of 92% as a result of all the process.
