IBS Mumbai Review

Only applied for the ICFAI group. After securing cutoff in CAT/NAMT/IBSAT each student has to appear for GD and PI which occurs on the Hyderabad campus. The minimum age is 20 yes and there is no upper limit for age and even students in their final year of graduation can appear for the admission process.

I choose this course because I was always interested in the business world and wants to start my own business. The student to teacher ratio is 20:1 and the teacher had experience in various sectors and visiting faculty are industry experts and most of the teachers are done their doctorate. Exams were conducted on regular basis and lots of activities also occur during class.

The internship is provided to each student in our college which is compulsory for all. The duration of the internship is 3 months starting from mid February. A project has to be submitted at the end of SIP and companies from various sectors come for a sip in our college.

Campus placement starts from August in 3rd semester companies like big four anil, itc and banks come to our college. Placement is given to every student via our college and 90% of students each year gets placed and a minimum of 6 Cgpa is required to sit for placement. An average of 7 lac is the placement.

The total fee is RS 810000 which is paid in 5 equal instalments. ROI is good comparing to other B-School. A merit scholarship is given in each semester based on one's performance and also few people provided with a paid job in the library.

Konflux is the annual fest of the college occurs in January by the clubs in which students from other college participate in the various competition, events. Projector, AC is there in class and a robust library is there. Sports events like marathons, basketball, chess, badminton etc are contacted. More than 20 clubs are there in which one can participate.

In GD the topics were given from current affairs, economics, some abstract topics were there and in an interview, they ask simple questions like why do u want to do an MBA, strengths and weaknesses etc. I mostly prepared to watch YouTube videos and mock interviews.
