Remarks
I first got into the JEE mains counselling which is known as JOSAA, where I did not get the desired branch. Then I applied to CSAB which is a special round (1 month after JOSAA), where I got admitted to IIIT Bhopal. Everything was in the online mode, the admission procedure was explained by the staff and was uploaded to the website. The counselling was also in online mode where the teachers told us abt the college, many teachers took part and motivated us and told us about the college. Even the dean of MANIT Bhopal came in the counselling for a speech.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course (i.e, computer science and engineering) because I was interested in coding and software development. The student ratio of our college is 9:1(b:g) Of course, being a govt funded institute the faculties are well qualified from different IIIT's and NITs. The exams are held according to the academic calendar schedule and yeah it's engineering so, some are a bit difficult for everyone...????
Internships Opportunities
The availability of internships is good in our college. We get a lot of opportunities here from different companies such as Google, Microsoft, etc. The seniors help a lot by telling us about the internships programs, all they need is a good crowd to tell. It goes pretty much easy because of all these opportunities.
Placement Experience
As I mentioned before only one batch has passed out from the college till now so, I can't really tell about the percentage. But few of my seniors whom I knew got good placements in companies like Qualcomm and Microsoft.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are 112000 for the first sem and 67500 from the second sem onwards. There are many scholarships available (they have different criteria). The placement of the college is still not very well known, as only one batch has passed out and that too in this pandemic situation.
Campus Life
It won't be writing if I tell you about the campus life from what I've heard. But the seniors are very helpful and have got many plans that help the juniors to grow. I joined the INSPIRE society, which is really amazing as it helps us a lot in learning and assists us at the time of our needs.
