Remarks

I have applied to panimalar Engineering College. The reason for not attending the college is that the seats were filled for the course for which I have applied. I have got selected in Rajalakshmi Engineering College. The admission process was completely offline. I went to the college and met my department Hod and asked for all the details in the college and got verified all my certificates in person. The minimum number of marks to be obtained is at least 60 % and the minimum age to apply for college is 17.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose mechatronics on my personal interest as it is a multidisciplinary field where it is the intersection of mechanics, electronics and computing. The student ratio is about 45. There are so many faculties working in the college based on their required fields. The faculties are always available in their working time in the college. They treat us as their children and make us feel free to ask or clarify all the doubts regarding the subject. The Professors are qualified with a PhD degree. The Teaching method is very informative. There are many practical oriented classes for a better understanding. There are internal and model exams that often occur monthly once and the difficulty level is medium.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 165000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I availed through management quota and the fees are about 1,65,000 excessive of mess fees but bus fees are included. Since I am from management quota I haven't got a specific scholarship but the students availed through government quota gets scholarship based on their marks and the percentage.

Campus Life

The annual fest often occurs in April and May and the tech fest usually occurs in the college often. There are all kinds of books and journals available in the college which is very useful for many students to study the concepts. The classrooms are well addressed and very much clean. Sports activities occur often in the college. Students can participate and win prizes and cash awards. There are social pages on Instagram and Facebook which is run by the students from the college to post the regular updates of the college.

Fees and Financial Aid:

Students through councling receives great offers in fees structure and for toppers having 190 +cutoffs get more offers like 50000 off over all fees will be 6-7lakhs for 4 years ,and moreover the fees was increasing year by year for the demand of this course and for management students the the donation for the courses is varies for example for cse course the donation will be 4lakhs and fees will be 3.8lakhs for other courses the fes structure will be varied the best part of this college is the food on a week only Friday we will have veg and for all other days we will have nonbeg

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

It's a good college for me.

Placement Experience:

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

I got seat at srm chennai but it was too long for me and it couldnt manage the travel because i should catch the bus at morning 6 am and i will return to home around 5 50pm. So nearly 12 hours. So rejected it and choose rec chennai because it is near to my location. I will catch the bus at 6 55 am and i will come to home at 4 15 pm. I wasnt applied to other clg so there is no rejection.Simple admission process just show ur orginal 12th certificate and cutoff marks.If your abive 80% cutoff u can pay minimum donation if doesnt enough for the course which u applied. Counselling is the better way to avoid donations and cutoffs may change for the caste....Read More
