Remarks
When I complete my schooling I search a lot of colleges near my home. Among all of them, I got admission to Btech IT from IMS Engineering College. As I took direct admission I do not avail any quota. For admission to the Btech IT branch, you should have a score of 70% in 12th and 60% in their own test of 15 marks (10marks Maths + 5 marks English). If you pass the above criteria you will get admission easily. After admission, there is a college orientation programme of 15 days to make you familiar with the college.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because I am a tech geek and interested to know how the computer works. In this course, we have 120 students per year and 10 faculties. Some faculties are PHD and others are Mtech. There will be e class tests or sessional every month and if you pay attention in class you can easily pass them.
Internships Opportunities
There are no such internship opportunities from the college side. You have to go out and search for an internship. I got an internship in Delhi and learnt a lot of things about robotic process automation there. I made projects on robotic process automation and the professor got impressed and gave me maximum marks in the class.
Placement Experience
In August, September companies started visiting the campus. The 7th and 8th semesters are eligible for campus placement. The highest package is around 7 to 8 lakh but generally, 60% of the student got 324 lakh package. I am planning for higher studies in technology after getting this degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is no such fees hike policy. We can expect a fee of 1.5 lakh per year. No scholarship benefit for the general category. No privilege of financial assistance. Generally, 80% of the student got campus placement of 3 to 4 lakh every year.
Campus Life
There is an annual fest named vibgyor which is conducted in Feb-March and a tech fest named techfest conducted in September-October. The library is well maintained and have a lot of book of every field and branch of BTech. The classroom is well furnished with AC and a projector. There is an NGO named Umeedo Ke Pankh run by the students of the college.
