I joined this college via management quota. I opted because this college is near to my house and have good fame across the puttur taluk.
Course Curriculum Overview
There is no scope for the research here. All lectures mainly focus on the subjects on the text books and there is no proper equipments on the laboratory. But some computer labs have standard as per vtu norms. Here I am requesting management that please focus on job oriented courses.
Internships Opportunities
No, Our college not allowed us to do internship. We did final year project in the college. Here I am requesting management to allow students for internship.
Placement Experience
Placement was good in Vivekananda college of engineering and technology. 2-3 staffs were exclusively designated for the campus selection. But some staff does not had proper standards to achieve the goals. Here I am requesting management please hire who have well capability to do that.
College Events
Although there is no much scope for the cultural events or for any tech event or any non tech events, for the sake of name they were celebrating some events like college day, ethnic day, sports day and some technical related events. Participation for the events were not mandatory here.
Fees and Financial Aid
I dint availed any loan or scolar ship from Vivekananda college of engineering and technology. But some of my friends got scolar ship because for their cast. College does not providing education loan, You should be all depend on the banks.
Campus Life
Campus life was good, Since most of the staff and students were from around Mangalore most of the people maintaining well relation relation each other. Although college does not providing well equipment for the sports, people who are came from sports background were participating in sports events.
Exam Structure
Exam standards in Vivekananda college of engineering and technology all as per the visvesvaraya technological university rules. Faculties were following very strict rules in the exam centres. Admission
Since I selected my course electronics and communication course via management quota, I dint find it so difficult in admission process. They requested some basic documents and previous college certificate for the admission purpose. I paid all the fees by cash bank near the college.
