IBS MUMBAI REVIEW

I had not applied to other colleges. I had just given IBSAT as my friends were in the earlier batch and they recommended me. I hadn't avail any quota for admission. So, in IBS Mumbai there are basically no age criteria according to my knowledge and the student should have at least 50% in their graduation, then only one can apply in IBS Mumbai. The admission process starts with a written exam and after you get selected you have GD and PI in Hyderabad Campus.

I chose PGPM because I want to develop my professional skills as well as to work in a multinational company. All the faculties in IBS Mumbai are highly professional. In IBS Mumbai, every faculty has done their Ph.D. and specialization in different fields. They also have knowledge of current affairs and guide the students accordingly. In IBS Mumbai, they have permanent as well as visiting faculty. Since it's online all the faculties are trying their level best to share their knowledge with students. Our exams are conducted every 4 months.

I was an intern in Future Generali Life Insurance where I was a marketing and sales intern. The internship was unpaid. My project title was Designing an ad campaign and market analysis on Future Generali Life Insurance. My task was to do marketing research on the company's products like money back, income plan, wealth plan, and designing the print ad on the basis of segmentation done. My task was to design other accessories like certificates and desk spread and one special task of designing a dummy product.

So, the placement starts in the month of August. Many multinational companies, start-ups, and many more come for the placement process. Companies that visit are J.P Morgan, Delloite, Axis Mutuals, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, and many more. The package they provide is around 3 lacs to 11lac p.a. My plan after getting the degree is to be placed at a good company in marketing profile. I've no idea about the percentage of students getting placed.

The fee of IBS Mumbai is Rs.4,00,000 per year. I haven't take any loan. In IBS Mumbai, the placements process starts in August. The company that comes in the campus for placements are Delloite, BlackRock, J.P Morgan, Axis Mutuals, ICICI Banks and many more. The internship is for 3 months. Many companies don't pay students any stipend, and some companies pay stipends to the students.

Due to this pandemic, I didn't get any chance to enjoy campus life. In the month of January, there's a college fest name KONFLUX. Many colleges come and participate in our fest. There are different clubs of different domains, they come together in the annual fest and plan different events for inter as well as intra colleges. In IBS Mumbai, we have a library, music room, gym, auditorium.

The GD and personal interview take place in IBS Hyderabad after the student passed their written exam IBSAT. The topic for GD is basically based on current affairs. In the personal interview, they ask about our self, some news regarding current affairs, etc. The process for admission is 1st there will be an exam which is known as IBSAT, after you pass that exam you'll further go for GD and personal interview process. How much I recollect theirs no such criteria for admission. To prepare for the rounds, IBS Mumbai conducted mock sessions for the students who got selected and they help us in preparing for GD and Personal Interview.
