The institute is one of the best IIIT's and is purely under MHRD and hence the fee is very less as compared to other IIIT's. It is located in a peaceful area far from the buzz of the city. The academics of the institute is very well with talented and experienced faculties from every branch. The only thing is that if you want their knowledge to be drained out from them then you need to be very punctual and dedicated so that they find the potential in you. The placements of the institute is average like very good for CSE and ECE but below average for ME as the lack of core companies coming for hiring , its the case of almost every institute of the country but the students who are interested in IT field can get easily placed. The institute has a very good partnership with the genesys group and some of the students get a chance to spend some time in Japan and understand their approach of education system. They work together with the japanese students on some research topics as well. This is a treat for the students. The infrastructure is good and pacing up very well.

The faculties in every branch are very educated and technical. They posses a huge knowledge about the field. Some of them are even decorated with White Collar. Their teaching methods are a mixture of old school and the modern day era so its very easy to cope up.

Their were a number of opportunites for the CSE and ECE students but not for the ME. Well they could find off campus. I didn't opt for internships as was preparing for GATE.

Genuinely, the placements of the institute is average. Like very good for CSE and ECE and below average for ME which sums up to be average. The reason being the lack of core companies recruiting which is the case of almost every institute of the country. The ME students interested or having a slight knowledge of IT topics or coding skills get easily placed but those aiming for core companies need to get through GATE. The research scope after the degree from the institute is very good and you get an upper hand if you're from this institute.

Its very much affordable being under the central government. Tution Fess is 59500 per sem and you even get a scholarshio if you are a 6 pointer and your family income is below 2.5 lpa. Most of the students have been placed some of them in Amazon , Microsoft and other MNC's and many in the mass recruiting companies. I have a job offer in Infosys with a 6.2 lpa ctc and still i have interviews scheduled. Being a mechanical engineer I think its a respectable package.

The campus life is very chill, no restrictions , far from the buzz of city located between the Dumna nature park. You could even have a sight of dancing peacock to even ferrocious leopards in the campus but they never attack. Its a peacefull place to live in with the campus being at some height from the ground level , its very pleasing at night. The infrastructure is very well with a huge library and core complex building. Their are a number of halls for the students and a central mess. Every hall has a canteen wwhich is open till 3 in the morning because they know engineers never sleep early and not at all during the exams.

Hostel facility is very good. You will have to share your room with two of your friends which means its a 3 seater room with plenty of space. We could even play cricket in the room. Water coolers in each floor of every block. Well cleaned common washrooms. Canteen in every halls opened till 3 AM.
