Remarks

One reason is that Branch chnge flexibility that u get in IIT kanpur. second reason is academic flexibility liker u can do minor and double major in other branches also. One more thing is that You have got the freedom in the Instiute.

Course Curriculum Overview

Definitely in some courses there were many quizzes which actually caused lot of tension in students. Course structure of some branches has to be revised. It is like only two or three branches are getting better attention like CSE, EE and MTH. Some faculties love teaching while some does not. U get a chance to do research study in ur field of interest if u apply to required profs.

Placement Experience

More than 300 companies come for the placement.Top recruiters for 2021 - Flipkart, Intel, Jumio, Zomato, Oyo Rooms, Jaguar, IBM, Quadeye, Uber, Myntra. Highest domestic CTC Rs 62.8 LPA , Highest international CTC Rs 1.5 crore per annum. Some opt for dual degree or some opt for PHD or some for UPSC. Some apply through off campus like on liknkedin.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Most of scholarship opportunities are for SC student or if ur family income is below 6 lakh per annum. Some prof offer internship in which u get stipend. Startup Internship Program is a part of Entrepreneurship Cell IIT Kanpur. Through SIP, we aim to collaborate with the start-ups willing to offer internship opportunities to IIT Kanpur students. SIP has been running successfully for 12 years now.

Campus Life

Campus life is the best part of my life that I ever experienced. annual fest - Antaragni one of the biggest Cultural fest of asia. Antaragni is the annual cultural festival of IIT Kanpur and one of the biggest across Asia. With a legacy of 55 years, Antaragni entertains a footfall of over 130,000 to provide a highly competitive national level platform and host concerts of artists with international repute. Tech Fest - Techkriti Techkriti is an annual four-day Inter-collegiate Technical and Entrepreneurship festival organized by the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur which is held each March. Many clubs activities going on the campus like Aeromodelling club , Programming club, Hindi sahitya sabha club, dance club and many more. It is like u got the chance to fulfill ur dream in ur life if u have.

Hostel Facilities

It is more or less good. Like food quality is very good. Because mess secretary is our student. Actually we decide our daily menu. Also we have to pay on Basic day meal rate. In old hostels , it needs some infrastructure development. But free internet services, lan cable, volley court, badi court everything and also some mango tree , all these services are there in the evry hostel.

The RGIPT Curriculum follows the syllabus and system of IIT Kanpur, so no need to further explain. But the implementation is not up to mark as it should be. Exams are as Mid Sem and End Sem, including two quizzes per semester.

My Biggest reason to choose this subject to I like art related work,so I choose this subject. One advantage of doing this subject is that along with art,you can learn a lot from other social and cultural aspect as well. There is a need to make some improvements in this subject such a a course should be of shorter duration and the syllabus should be made a little shorter. Whatever the exam,the subject should be made a short subject with less duration and should not be of long duration.

Comapny will visit in campus after September. And here alomst 80 to 85 company visit in this college. Likes hdfc, Dabur, icici, mother dairy, wipro, Infosys and many startup companies. And almost all student got job in campus. Last year highest package is 8.5 lacs and average package is 3.5 to 4 lacs. Here almost 90-95% student placed. In starting 5-8 years I make me financially strong and learn about market and condition. After I looking for a startup.

IITK From Sparsh's Perspective

I choose this college becouse of its flexible acdemic structure and its great Alum connections. Also this is the best college i am getting according to my rank and my interest in mathematics. I have Applied for IIT delhi in electronics. IIT Delhi is also a great college but when it comes to academic focus IIT delhi lacks there. Also there faculty administratation is so strict. if a student wants to start something or he/she has a new iniative for the college , he/she will face hard time. So I couldn't make it to IIT Roper CSE branch because my jee adance rank is not that great for the Roper' Computer science. So the Admission process here at IITK is not difficult. You just the originaly document which you have submitted in your josa counselling portal and you need to verify it once here usually a couple opf hours work. The cut-off for IITK varies-from branch to branch. For example the CSE of IITk open from Jee advanced general rank of 115 to 250....Read More

Life @ IITK

I chose IIT Kanpur over othe rcooleges because of its academic reputation, research opportunities and strong alumini network. I was also able to get seats in other IITs but I preferred IIT Kanpur due to its legacy . I didn't face rejections, but did not opt for some colleges even after qualifying due to lower research output, weaker placement stats.
