Best Institute in NCR region

The placements were really nice in this college. The staff and faculty work really hard along with the students. The life here is a little stricter but all the people learn to manage these difficulties. The MRHD ranking of this college was also good enough. All I can say that this is a good place if someone wants to work hard and make his/her future bright.

I had to pursue B.Tech. in Computer Science and that was my aim right from the beginning as I was very much interested into computers and how they worked. That's why I choose this course. The faculty to student ratio is a little poor but it's like a class of 50 students with 1 teacher per subject. The faculties here are well qualified and educated like they have Ph.D and M.Tech. There are a total of two sessional exams, one pre-university test, one university exam and a lot of unit tests like three or four UTs. The exams are on the tougher side but if one does his /her class regularly and submits all the assignments then it becomes a lot easier to pass it.

I am currently working as a Research Intern at IIT Guwahati. The placement season is still ongoing and I the process of getting internships and job from companies is still going on. The stipend offered with any good company is around 25K-30K per month.

The campus placements are really good. Many product based companies like Amazon, HashedIn, Accolite, NCR, Zopsmart etc. visit the campus. The highest package offered in year 2020 was 30.25 LPA by Amazon. The highest package in 2021 till now is 14.95 LPA by Cisco. The average salary is around 4-6 LPA. More than 95% students get placed from this college.

The fee is on the costlier side if we compare it with other AKTU colleges. The tuition fess is 105450, then there is examination fess which is 7865 and other fees like test fee, medical insurance, techno/cultural fess, personality grooming and development program and Institute industry Interface. All of it sums up to 150000 per year. No financial aid is provided if parents are into government job and there is also some criteria on family earning. Otherwise some financial aid is provided like around 50000-85000. Some of the fulfilling the criteria even do not get it easily. It's a very difficult task to apply for scholarship in AKTU. No job offers are offered on campus through which you can earn some part time money.

The campus life is very boring as there are very less fests and a lot of classes and study. Once a year there is Bhandara organized around September-October in which all the students, faculty, other staff eat food which somewhat gives the feel of a fest. Other than that sometimes there are some activities like dance, quiz, drama, comedy and other technical competitions organized by different branches of B.Tech. Other than that I have once seen one unknown singer performing. No reputed singers come here. Once Disha Patani and Tiger Shroff came to college before my admission for promotion of their film Baaghi 2. I was not in college around that time.There is a Google Developers Club, Dijkstra Programming Society and some other dance clubs.

The hostel costs around 90000 per year. The on campus hostel is only for boys and there is no hostel on-campus for girls. They have a tie-up with some nearby hostel for girls. The facilities include a triple sharing room with three cupboards. Cooler is not provided but you can buy and install your cooler and install it in your room. The mess food is good on somedays and somedays it is bad. Bed is provided along with table and a chair for each person separately. You will have to bring your mattress, pillow, etc. The bathroom is common for a floor and you will have to manage with less no. of toilets and bathing rooms. The rooms are quite spacious and airy with a low of sunshine on the balcony.
