Remarks

Since its parent college MIT was renowned and established I hoped that this new college would have the similar benefits. Also, the infrasturcture was pretty decent and inviting for students. However the college is away from city and has many loopholes making it not the best choice especially for branches like civil, mechanical, mechatronics etc.

Course Curriculum Overview

0.5

The courses offered are a wide nmber, the curriculum set is decent. However like any other private college this college too exist to suck money out of the students thats all. They don't really have solid tie ups for placements and once done with the course you have to manage on your own and figure out everything by yourself. The faculties are a mix bunch, some are really good and experienced whereas others have fairly no to so little knowledge that you wonder if you can take their place. Not to belittle anyone, but that is what the state is. The place is decent for IT and tech guys in terms of job opportunities but for other branches its a strict and big NO NO. The best bet would be to save up the huge money that this college asks for and use it later on in life or pay for studies abroad. Most of the students go abroad or find a different career path which absolutely sucks if you are paying bucket loads for college tuition etc. The facilities are decent and the students are really good, you get to interact with a diverse bunch. But unless you value money never go for this college.

Placement Experience

0.5

The placements were non existent for branches like civil mechanical etc. Students had to search around for jobs on their own and look for opportunities elsewhere. Tech jobs were decent, still compared to the amount of fee paid it was a joke.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The Fee structure is enough to make you bankrupt, especially considering the fact that placements are so few and bad. More than half the students won't be able to pay their fee back with the job offers they get. thats how bad it is. And let me not even bring branches like civil and mec. into the picture who dont even get the companies of their domain. The ones they get offer package like 2 Lacs and to bring context the yearly fee alone is 3 lac(even more for hosteliers). In short its a joke on your face if you are not from a super well off family.

Campus Life

4

Life at campus on the contrary to all things academic is pretty good and if you can bear the hot summers annd scarcity of things available nearby or are ready to take the bus to city, you will be pretty happy with campus life. Clubs are there but mostly for hostel boarders only. Life begins post 5 pm which makes it extremely difficult for dayboarders to be a part of it.

Hostel Facilities

4

No i did not opt for hostel facility. They charge you bucket loads again. But the rooms are super maintained with AC and generally it is double sharing but you can opt for single too i Believe. The mess food is decent compared to other institutes and rented accomodation was scarce that time. Might have changed now.
