Remarks

The reasons for preferring SPJIMR were simple: Excellent Placements, Opportunity to study abroad, Excellent peer group, Excellent course curriculum with focus on overall personality development rather than a single handed focus on academics. The admission process involved submission of a form followed by shortlist for a psychometric test, written ability test and followed by two rounds of eliminative group interviews.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is focussed on development of overall personality with innovative courses like DoCC (Social internship with NGOs for 1 month), Abhyudaya(mentoring a kid from underpriveleged sections of Mumbai for a year) etc. Faculty is world class with excellent exposure to the industry. A lot of teaching is done by people working in the industry with some of the top companies.

Internships Opportunities

Excellent internship opportunities are available. SPJIMR follows Autumns internship process unlike other B Schools. Top companies participate in internships and nearly 30-40% of the batch receives pre-placement offers.

Placement Experience

Placements are excellent. The average and median package for the 2021 batch was above 25lpa. Job opportuities are available in varied sectors like Consulting, Marketing, E-commerce, FMCG, IT Consulting, Finance, Banking etc

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee Hikes are generally rare. The college administration team helps students manage fees by tieing up with top banks who offer discounted interest rates because its a premier college. There are decent scholarship opportunities as well with many corporates giving students awards.

Campus Life

College infrastructure is excellent with a beautiful lake in the campus. We have events running throughout the year on the campus. The college fests are Sprint (sports festival) and Ojas (Cultural and Management festival). Library is excellent with access to top tiered journals like CMIE, Euromonitor, Bloomberg terminal.

Hostel Facilities

Its an on campus program with hostels available on campus. The hostel fee is included in the college fees. The hostels are decent with good service and cleanliness. There are staff available on every floor round the clock. There are washing machines, microwave ovens, refrigerator and water coolers in the common area of every floor.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

To be honest there are placements but the placements are like no one want to be there it is just something unacceptable for the HR students . The promises the long talks are all false and they doesn't focus on students future and career rather they care for just attendance

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

Remarks:

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top. I would definitely recommend this college to the upcoming students those who are planning to do MBA in order to achieve goals and learn quality skills.

Genuine SPJIMR review

SPJIMR PGPM program ends by Oct 15th however for rest of the college's it ends by Jan end. So due to early offer and opportunities Spjimr gets an edge. Once student gets offer from SPJIMR in Oct mid, they don't want to withdraw from course as other colleges will be out only in Jan end and don't want to loose the 1st opportunity and same was the case with me....Read More

I had applied for B-schools based on their rankings, so top 10-12. SPJIMR is one of them. There was no quota here and the application was purely merit and CAT score based. There were two ways of getting calls for interviews – profile-based (Exceptional all-around profile) and the usual CAT score based. Though in all cases the min criteria were 85%tile overall and 75%tile in each QA, LRDI, VARC for the call to be valid.
