Remarks

The main reason to choose SVNIT was a very good NIRF Ranking in 2016. Also I wanted to choose computer science as my majors, so this was the best college in which I could get preferred stream as per my JEE Main Rank.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose Computer Engineering, as I was really interested into the field, and my family background is also related to that. Being an institute of national importance, the curriculum is same as any other IIT and NIT. The faculty is also experienced. But particularly in my department, the faculty to student ratio was low.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 500000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I was interested in Research, so got research internship offers from IIT Kharagpur, and KIT Germany. I also completed Google Summer of Code 2020

Placement Experience

Placement for Computer Science, and other Circuit Branches is quite good. There are many opportunities and students also get triple placements many times. But if you are looking for a job in core compay then the opportunities are less and you have to compete more

Campus Life

The campus life is quite fun at SVNIT. Generally the NITs and IITs are located in remote areas. But SVNIT is situated in main city. The campus is full of facilities like bus service. Library is one of the best place build inside the campus.

Hostel Facilities

The hostels of SVNIT are very decent and newly built. They have proper furnished rooms, with good facilities. Bathrooms are common but cleaned regularly. Mess good quality is average.Other facilities like lifts were also there in some hostels

Alembic,pollycab and sunpharma are visiting this callage and I don't know about Highest package but the average like 500000 and the students are have more than 8 CGPA so they are definitely eligible for the placement

Placements start to comence from 7th sem.It is the eligibility criteria for all students. Companies like Sopan Industries etc have visited the campus for placement purpose. Inside SVNIT: A students’s UNFILTERED view

Honestly, i had applied so many NITs but due to my average score in JEE MAINS , i was getting only SVNIT and some Northen east NITs I did not choose other NITs as they are very far apart from my home state. And talking about my branch , there are various companies around my home town . Generally SVNIT accepts the admission on the basis of JEE MAINS score. SVNIT -The best for Transportation engineering

I chose SVNIT just because this is one of the best college for transportation engineering. Surat is the best city for seeing the development which is being carried out and a great infrastructure is also available. Great college for exploring and learning.

I had a very good jee mains rank and was getting in every nit and iiits admission in some branches but still i choose this because i had interest in coding and ai.
