Remarks

Good Institute in Tier 2 lists. Totally student driven, offers lot of scope to execute management practices. Brand name is also better than the same tier institutes.GIM is known for the MArketing courses and has good Alumni network

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is rigorous and intensive, makes it very stressful at times, but that is the whole point of doing an MBA. Ratio of Men to Female is near 1:1 and the spread of students covers almost whole India.

Placement Experience

Placements are good and has a dedicated placement cell to look after it. Industry relations of GIM is good and there are a lot of companies that revisit GIM every year. On top of that, a lot of good companies have been added last year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

There is a selection round called Achievers round and students that get selected in that round are eligible for the scholarship. However, students have to score 5.6 out of 8 grade points to be eligible for scholarship. Fee is at 18 Lakhs.

Campus Life

GIM is known for its campus life and something or the other happens on campus everyday. The campus infrastructure is very good and the climate makes it all the more exciting to stay. Transport to the Institute is a little problematic.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is mandatory for everyone that studies at GIM. Hostels are decent with proper sanitation facilities. Hostel fee is accounted per term basis and overall fee could account to 2 LPA. There are 9 hostels currently

An inside information about the college aspirants think of, BITS Goa

Placement Experience:

The student is eligible for campus placement since 7th semester. The companies that visit the campus are Google, Samsung, Meta, Apple, Nvidia, IBM, Mercedes Benz and many more. The percentage of placement is around 84%. My plan after getting the degree is higher studies

BITS Pilani, Goa Campus- A road to an interesting life.

Placement Experience:

Students can start sitting in placements from the start of 4th year , when the Placement Division starts bringing companies to the campus. The average package for CS is around 20-26 LPA, for Electrical branches it's around 18-24 LPA and for Mechanical and Chemical it is around 13-16 LPA. These figures would've changed though from the last time I saw. Around 85-90% of the students get placed usually. Top notch companies like Google, Microsoft , DE Shaw, Arcesium Cohesity Rubrick recruit students every year for the tech roles and other prominent companies like Flipkart, Sprinkle, Intuiut and Coin Switch come for managerial roles as well. There is even a chance of getting a PPO through Summer Internship Program which kikstarts in the 3rd year where students compete to get internship in these top companies. Overall , BITS Goa has impeccable placement statistics

Bits Goa good or not

Placement Experience:

There is a dept for placements. 70 to 80 percent people get placed woth average package of 20 lakhs per annum. Mostly ot depends on interviews and how good internship you get in 3rd year. Cg plays a very imp role too.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is cbme based this meets the international standards and students can attampt usmle aslo. The course give u exposure to real world scenarios. The course is good as it is. The exams take place every semester and end of the year finals. Moderately difficult to clear.

The curriculum is really fun and subjects are also related and is fun to learn and understand but the only subject which is not related to the course and is a burden is the Hindi which is an add on according to the new nep otherwise the subjects are good and fun to learn

I myself wanted to bebin this course as it has bright scope. It is very attractive in real world. the area needed to be cleaned and well maintained and hygiened as well. And the class timing are not good enough . They keep classes as they want.

Bits goa brief review

Placement Experience:

The placements are very good because we have two compulsory internships called practice school to make us industry ready after the second year summer for 2 months and one semester in the 4th or 5th year placements start since 7th semester itself were most get offers in PPO thright the internships. 248 companies visited along with 631 students placed the average is 2083000 and median is 1650000. 76 percent of students got placed highest was 80lpa. I plan to get a job

The college adheres to NMC guidelines and we are following CBME. It is well planed and well executed. Plenty of dummy models to practice on and very good practical classes in wards. Exams are not too tough, they test your clinical acumen

I had given the CAT examination and scored 95.36 percentile. There is no sectional cutoff for this college. 80 is the cutoff for cat. Beyond the Campus Gates of GIM

Steps of admission process were as follows: 1. Minimum 50% aggregate in Bachelor's Degree 2. Clear cutoff of CAT(approx 85%ile)/XAT(approx 80%ile)/GMAT/CMAT respectively (any one is enough) *They also have an Achiever's Round 3. Shortlisting based on overall academic background 4. Written Ability Test (WAT) - Basic opinion on some random topic is asked, fully proctored 5. Online Interview - Checks basic intellect, general awareness, concept clarity 6. Admission Letter ALL THE NECESSARY DETAILS RELATED TO THE ADMISSION PROCESS ARE AVAILABLE ON THE OFFICIAL WEBSITE OF GIM In my opinion, the selection process is rigourous enough, I was asked only relevant questions and tasks to do throughout.
