I entered through CET entrance exam and i was ranked at 23k. I chose BE bcoz i was passionate about how our everyday things are manufactured and wanted to do of my own.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, our college are more than supportive for the inter opportunities and they recommend the students for some companies, the staffs provide us with the facilities to apply and get selected for the internship in our required companies.
Placement Experience
Placements are at average level as of now, moat of 6-7 companies visit our college for campus recruitment Tech mahindra, Infosys, Wipro, Westline, IBM, Tata motors. The salary packages are not stable they vary year to year, at an estimated level in the range of 2.5-4.5 lac per annum.
Campus Life
The campus is big considering other colleges and the students male female is about 2:1. Students come from different states and different religion and all are well getting together, and as observed there is no political activities in the college. There is no ragging or any other illegal activities in the college or racism expressed by the staffs or the workers in the college.
Exam Structure
Exams are at the end of every semester, and there are internals conducted by the college 3 times in a semester. The internals marks are also considered in final marks card. They take the average of the best of two in the three internals we write. The examination has enough days gaps for students to study.
Admission
I filled out the list of colleges which i wanted to be selected, and i got selected in East west institute of technology. I went to the college on the first day of the admission and gave them the certificates needed and paid the fee amount in the bank and i was up and ready.
