No entrance exam. I liked Economics a lot that's why I opted for this course. You are required to score good in mathematics in 12th board exams. Failing in which u won't get a chance.
Course Curriculum Overview
In pass subjects we have an option between statistics and political science. In languages there is an option between Alternative English and Bengali. The Honours subjects are Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, Maths for eco and Stats for eco.

We have an internship team that helps in providing internship and clears various doubts regarding jobs and internships. Stipend is offered. Different departments are given placement in different companies. It completely varies from One department to other.

College Events
Our college celebrates festivals of every culture and religion. Some grand festivals are Saraswati puja and Iftar party. There is more than a months holiday . There is also a holiday during Christmas.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Its to feasible. Rs.75 per month. Being a government college. Six months fees is to be paid at once during admission and then from you can pay per month.

Many scholarships are available for poor and girls below poverty line. Notice about schoralships are available on college notice boards. One has to provide relevant documents to avail the scholarship.
Campus Life
Both genders are equally present. Campus is really good. Not discrimination of any sort. There is a sexual harassment cell for girls to help them. Though no cases on sexual harassment is reported till date.

Senior students are very friendly. They are very cooperative too. There is no ragging. There are many famous personalities belonging to the alumni of this college.

College conducts mid terms and selection test, apart from university exams. College also conducts monthly class tests.

We have a very experienced group of teachers. They are very helpful and friendly. They have good qualifications and few of them even represent our college in foreign countries.
